Our favorite Honey Buns is looking to be spoiled by 1 more kiddo this winter!

Ideally looking for a kid or small adult who would like to spoil Miss Honey 1 day a week (can discuss more days if it’s a good fit)

Honey is great for young kids learning to ride and anyone that needs a confidence boost!
She is more of a kick ride, so we would start with a few lessons to make sure she’s a good fit!

18 inch Arena Dressage Saddle

Bought new in 2024

Has medium gullet in currently - adjustable, but do not have any other plates for it.

Super comfy saddle, just doesn’t fit my current horses.

HAPPY HUNT SEASON!

Beginning of October, I got to spend some time in my favorite place, Burwell!

Beyond grateful to get back into the hunt season.
My 3 horses were perfect for everyone that hopped on. Tequila stepped up to the plate and Whipped all 4 days - one day in a parade around town.

Mr. Cowboy - owned by Katie Mathis, really stepped up the to plate, being a catch ride for Rylee on Thursday and then Morgan Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday, Morgan did a bit of jumping with him, he was game for it all!

Aspen was perfect as always (maybe a bit bias 😂.)

Josey!

Age: 11ish -vet approx.

Josey is looking for a new home! She would love to have someone who is a confident intermediate to experience level riding, as she can be quick footed.

Josey would be best suited for trail riding or western dressage. She was in my program for 2 months for a refresher. Her current mom, who is still new to riding, has decided that Josey is a bit too much for her. Josey will thrive with someone who is willing to show her direction.

She is a sweet mare, who does not have a marish personality. She is easy in turnout and prefers to live out 24/7- currently in a herd of 5 and is middle of the herd.

Josey will require front shoes as she did have a previous injury (before current owner) and does have a significant permanent quarter crack.

She’s such a smart little mare who picks up right were we leave off. I’ve not been quite as consistent as I’d like, but she’s so smart, she doesn’t miss a beat!
Getting lots of touches and she’s starting to come to me 🩵

Holy cow! What a weekend!

Gracie and Tequila finished on their dressage score to place 1st!

Hollynn and Aspen added 1 rail in SJ to finish 3rd, after sitting in 1st after dressage and XC!

Lola finished on her dressage score to place 4th!

Maya and Liam added one rail to her score, and rode one of the hardest XC courses this pair has seen!

Super proud of all 4 of these girls! They have all been putting in the work and the effort is finally showing through!

I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store!

I’m starting to toss around the idea of finding Shorty a home where she can continue to compete. Due to my life changes, I just don’t have the time that she deserves. This isn’t an easy decision and I will be picky for her perfect fit.

Shorty has competed through Novice and has schooled through Training level. She is quite capable of moving up, would just need to get back into the groove.

She is a sensitive mare who needs a rider who is tactful.

She is a forward ride, but also needs a steady leg to support her along. She does need someone with confidence, but has packed around younger kids through 2’6.

I’d love to see her continue in the eventing world, but I could also see her stepping into the jumper ring.

About a week ago, Sylvie, Jake and I made a trip to Elm Creek to pick up these 2 boys.

Sylvie picked out a cute little 3 yr old gelding, now named Rio. He’s such a curious little guy! Excited to watch these 2 grow together!

I picked up a BIG guy. He is also a 3 yr old. He’s more on the timid side, but last night we made great progress for his first touches and scratches.
I’m thinking his name will be Arlo as he’s a big dinosaur.

I can’t wait to see how these gelding progress 🩵
