Just to let you guys know of the upcoming road closures in the area.

Please plan accordingly for your appointments during those dates!

🚧The intersection at Garden City Boulevard and Riverland Road will close Monday, June 15, 2026, through July 5, 2026.

The closure is necessary to install a new drainage system for the Riverland Road/Star Trail Parking Area Improvement Project.

The City coordinated intersection closure with Roanoke City Public Schools and Valley Metro - Roanoke to minimize impacts to transportation services and daily operations.

The closure detour will route drivers via Yellow Mountain Road.

**Notice: Update to Our Cancellation Policy**

Dear Valued Clients,

To ensure we can continue providing the highest level of care and attention to every pet, we are implementing an updated cancellation and rescheduling policy effective today.

We understand that life can be unpredictable; however, late cancellations and no-shows significantly impact our groomers' schedules and prevent other pets on our waiting list from receiving care.

**New Policy Guidelines**

* 48-Hour Notice: We kindly request at least 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.

* Late Cancellation Fee: Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price.

* No-Show Policy: Missing an appointment without any prior notice will also result in a 50% fee.

This fee helps cover our stylists' time and ensures the continued sustainability of our salon. We appreciate your understanding and your continued support of our small business.

Is anyone missing their dogs? We spotted a spotted hound mix and his friend a black bully mix? They’re running down Garden City Blvd right now. We tried to lure them close to slip lead them and get the info from their tags but they ran off. 🥺

By now, many of us know each other by name and many of you know Kim, whom we’ve all come to lovingly call our Salon Mom.

This week, Kim and her family experienced an unexpected loss with the passing of her mother, Ellen. Ellen shared Kim’s unmistakable heart, her kindness, and her deep love for animals.

In the coming weeks, LuxePup will be collecting donations and supplies for our friends at Regional Center for Animal Care & Protection, where Ellen adopted her beloved companion, Harley the Shih Tzu. These donations will be made in Ellen’s honor and memory.

Please keep Kim, her family, and sweet Harley in your thoughts as they navigate this difficult time. Your love and support mean more than words can say. ♥️

For my daughter’s birthday tomorrow she decided it was time to get her ears pierced. Of course we had to go see our friends at Clove Piercing & Fine Jewelry! Atom and his team were fantastic!
