✨Adoptable Adult✨
🐕This beautiful lil lady is Miss Monroe! She is 3 years old (will be 4 in February) and the lovely daughter of Miss Rosie and Redd! ❤️
📝Here's her Check List and No-No Sheet:🚫
⬇️👇⬇️👇⬇️👇
❤️She is playful, cuddly and active! 🏃♀️
✅💉She is also spayed and is UTD on her vaccines/preventions!
♂️🐶✅ She would absolutely love to be an only dog to a human with time and attention to give her exclusively, or a fun outgoing sister to a mellow-fellow big brother dog who needs to play a lil more! (She was happiest when paired with her daddy, Redd!)
🚫♀️🐶 She clearly does not like nor tolerate other female dogs of any size or variety.
❤️👧 She loves kids (little girls age 7 and up, especially) and will consider them her babies or her siblings. She will also take commands from them, allow them to walk her, feed her, groom her, etc, baring the issue of other dogs present or passing that she deems as a potential threat to that child.
❤️✅🏥 She really loves all vet staff, and meeting new folks!
🚗✅ Car rides are life! She loves to go for a ride every where you go! Great on long or short trips!
🚫🐈 She has an affinity for barking at cats and does not care to understand them at all. Their energy drives her energy up. No Mews.
📈⚡She has a medium to high prey drive with an active energy level to match! She's a runner and loves a good yard chase or ball!
⛩️⛩️⛩️ A fenced, big back yard would be the most beneficial for her happiness!
🏋️♂️She's built like an athlete and truly is! She loves to play football, tackle, sprint and tag!
🏥She has a docked tail, microchipped, front dew claws removed and natural medium length floppy ears.
✅🏥She is a spayed female white doberman who has never bred nor had puppies.
🚫🐥 She has an intolerance to chicken based dog foods and typically eats beef and salmon based chows. 🐄🐟👍
🚽 She is both crate and house trained! Her bladder hold time IS sensitive to high sodium diets 🧂 so if you change her foods, she'll need patience and more frequent potty breaks until she fully adjusts. This also applies to the transition to her new home, as it can make any adult dog a bit nervous getting used to a new environment, family and routine!
⚡⭕ She has been ecollar trained, but does not need it and works best without it. For long distance free runs, only the beep function is necessary and works beautifully for recalls where voice can't always be heard.
💥♿ Although she DOES have previous experience as a flawlessly working SD, she would require a deep bond with an experienced handler to do so again effectively, IMO. I've worked her myself for over a year without any issues in public, but it is quite different for me, as I helped raise and train her - so a level of respect, love and confidence has long been established. With another handler, if she hasn't developed those levels yet with them, she can, after some time, fall back into " guard mode " to alert to passing barking dogs, nervous dogs or aggressive dogs due to her prior experiences. This seems to occur with handlers who experience intense levels of anxiety or prefer to recluse from situations. She is very sensitive to their emotional state.
💪🤓 She needs a confident, consistent handler to direct her and confirm a situation is suitable to be ignored (She will physically look to you for this confirmation as well). This can be an issue if a handler has a history of experiences with their disability where they are unable to do so, and she may not be suitable for those families. 🚫

🟢 My personal recommendation is that she gets to enjoy life as someone's Netflix & Hulu 🍿🎥 couch buddy with plenty of time to romp the fenced yard with you! 🏈🏡
