A new virus affecting Dobermans has been reported in a few European countries, but not in the USA yet.
This has been going on for over a year, it has finally been identified as a virus called raccoon dog amdoparvovirus. Unfortunately, there is no vaccine or specific treatment available for this virus at the moment.
Reported Symptoms:
Conjunctivitis: Ocular and nasal discharge, sometimes showing a "blue eye"appearance.
Weight Loss: Progressive emaciation and poor coat quality.
Neurologic Issues: Hind-limb weakness or paralysis (paraplegia) in advanced stages.
Systemic Indicators: Biochemical evidence of liver injury
