🚨 EXTREMELY URGENT- RED LISTED 10/29/2025:
I love Charles so much, I love the way you feel around him. I can’t even imagine him being euthanized. He deserves his happy ending after everything he has been through.

Charles has been returned twice, but not because he isn’t a wonderful dog. The first time, his adopter hadn’t checked the weight limit for pets in their building. The second time, poor Charles got scared, had a few accidents inside, and in his panic jumped a 10-foot fence.

None of this is his fault—he’s a gentle, 💯 dog-friendly, calm boy who just needs someone patient and loving enough to give him the stability he deserves. He’s 7 years old, red-listed, and has been waiting for months at the shelter.

Charles truly lives up to his name, a sweet gentleman with the most relaxing, easygoing personality.

I’m not the shelter but a volunteer at the shelter and I created this account to highlight the wonderful dogs I spend time with who are about to be euthanized at the Coachella Valley Animal Campus in Thousand Palms so that they can have a chance to be seen and saved.

How and why is this adorable sweet girl on death row? They’re going to KILL her if no one gets her out.

Kassandra is so brilliant she can apparently escape her prison cell. She is just being a spectacular Shepherd that should NOT be behind bars. She will NOT be able to escape being walked to her death without your help. She looks bi-eyed and beautiful. Please help her walk out alive.

⛑️ Honeybee is limping on right front leg. She appears to have bullet fragments lodged near right elbow, bullet on dorsal neck, and fragments on left side of skull. She has been social with staff. She came in as a stray on 10/24 from Soboba Road, no one has reclaimed her yet. She needs a responsible adopter or dedicated foster and reputable Rescue to bail her out of there. 🖤🐾Puppy Boogie just got off bite quarantine and will need some patience and training, it’s not a reason to kill him. He originally came in as a stray, no one has reclaimed him. 10/15/25 13:50 negative scan, favoring left rear limb, large amount of bloody urine. Sedated for radiographs, TTDex 0.03mg/ml dose IM, under doctor review. Admin Carprofen inj 1.44 cc SQ, admin Simbadol 0.36 cc IM (sj25-33). Rx Rimadyl 75mg 1 tab po SID x 5 days, Rx Simbadol 0.36 cc IM BID x 5 days per protocol. Reversed with Antisedan IM.

10/15/25 14:01 Examined while sedated--Brown/bloody urine dripping from prepuce. Bruising noted on right inguinal area and right medial thigh. Radiographs show multiple fractures affecting right side of pelvis--SI luxation, p***s, and ischium (just caudal to acetabulum). There is also a possible minimally displaced fracture of the left acetabulum. Bladder appears intact on radiographs. Gas/ no ingesta in stomach and throughout Si; scant stool in colon. Will need to assess gait/mobility once recovered from sedation. Also monitor appetite and ability to urinate/ defecate. Pelvic fractures may require surgical repair; rec. rescue when available. OK to extend Rimadyl x 10d.

10/16/25 staff req. E/D NO B/M or urine in kennel, 🚨 dog is possible potty trained,

10/17/25 10:25 Eating/Drinking. Urination was brown in color/Soft stools. BAR in kennel.

10/18/25 According to RVT during morning cleaning, p e/d/ u/d, urine remains brown tinged. Very vocal throughout the day. Soft bedding and pains meds provided. Continue to monitor.

10/20/25 09:28 e/d/u/bm good. walking outside well. BAR

10/23/25 09:43 During morning cleaning, pet e/d/u/d. Taken out to grass area to use bathroom/run around, urine slightly darker, stool normal, walking around well. Moved from clinic into receiving, given soft bedding new food/ water. BAR/vocal.

10/24/25 09:34 pt e/d fine, no bm urinating well.

10/25/25 08:45 eating, drinking, urinating, and bowel movement good.

10/26/25 staff Req. dog appears bar, E/D all food, / all water, urine/ B/M normal.

10/27/25 10:04 e/d/u good. no bm. appears bar.

10/20/25 - Code Red - On KILL list at San Jacinto. No public deadline yet. Can be killed at anytime.

🚨 Please remember that many dogs, especially the MOST URGENT are often HIDDEN OUT of PUBLIC VIEW for any amount of time and possibly for their entire incarceration, especially at San Jacinto.🚨

🆘 10/28/25 - Added to the KILL LIST at San Jacinto for HALLOWEEN- FRIDAY 10/31/25 at 5:00 PM.

How and why is this adorable sweet girl on death row? They’re going to KILL her if no one gets her out.

Kassandra is so brilliant she can apparently escape her prison cell. She is just being a spectacular Shepherd that should NOT be behind bars. She will NOT be able to escape being walked to her death without your help. She looks bi-eyed and beautiful. Please help her walk out alive.

🚨Any dog can be HIDDEN OUT of PUBLIC VIEW at anytime. Especially the most urgent dogs and especially at San Jacinto. Possibly even for their entire incarceration giving them little to no chance of survival. Please be their VOICE. 🚨
