🆘🔊 3/27 - Now Deadlined to be KILLED at Riverside on Tuesday 3/31 at 5 pm. Shelters are full.

Due to being way over capacity, too many mis matched dogs end up together in the same kennel. Unfortunately, kennel fights are a regular issue. It’s not the dogs fault.

He’s been to play group many times and had different kennel mates. He was even noted as being afraid of some of the other dogs.

Mathew is a sweet beautiful dog that needs your help now to walk out alive.

Morti had a cherry eye 👁️ surgery & ALSO had a testicle mass that was the size of a cantaloupe 🍈 rupture! He’s survived all this already there, please share him 🐾

💛Morti is a sweet dude who is social with stafff. Morti came into the shelter as a stray from Perris on 11/25, and was never reclaimed. Due to his medical he was kenneled alone when he first got there. Since then He has participated in multiple play groups and he has had kennel mates. His last kennel mate and him had an altercation so he has been alone since. The shelter is extremely crowded and sadly altercations are a common occurrence when there are so many dogs there.

🐾He needs a loving adopter or dedicated foster and reputable Rescue to bail him out of there. If you can help in anyway, please comment below and maybe a plan can come together for him. Please check out his videos in the comments ⬇️ below

🆘🔊 3/27 - Now Deadlined to be KILLED at Riverside on Tuesday 3/31 at 5 pm.

Zen will lose his precious life for space if no one gets him out. Shelters are beyond FULL!!

Zen sits, waits for the leash, walks well on the leash, plays in the yard with other dogs and is friendly with staff. What more is needed? What else is expected of a helpless imprisoned dog?

Instead of just saying we’re full and it’s time to die for space, Zen is a perfect example of a perfectly good dog that truly has some unnecessary notes. A dog barking for attention while behind bars hoping you pick him and take him out is NOT a behavior problem. Why is a dogs only way to communicate used against him? If you hover over a kennel it’s very possible the dog will continue to try and get your attention the only way they know how.

Per shelter “When approaching the kennel the dog was friendly and sat for the leash. Walks well on leash likes to play in the yard. Wasn't dog reactive with dogs and social with handler.”

Then per shelter “Dog appears to be exhibiting signs of kennel stress during walk through. Dod is at front of kennel stress panting, alarm barking and spinning in kennel. Dog continues behavior throughout observation.”

Zen had some tears to his ears at intake that were treated. Who knows what this poor boy has been through while loose on the streets. Now his life is in danger in a shelter where he should have been safe. Please help him get out alive. 🙏

***Owner was Found Deceased, Spike Was Chained to a Tree When Help Arrived! After almost 6 Months There He is Deadlined at Riverside (videos & notes below) Must Exit by Thursday 4/2 at 5pm or they will kill him!

🐶🤎✨Please Read Spike’s Story & Share✨🤎🐶

Spike came into the shelter heavily covered in chains that had to be cut off of him with bolt cutters, skin and bones. His owner was found in the house, he had passed away back in October. He was very scared when ACO’s arrived but once they got back to the shelter he knew they were there to help him and was thankful for the help and rewarded them with kisses. Spike has participated in multiple play groups and he has had multiple kennel mates. His last kennel mate and him had an altercation, sad to say this is a common occurrence with how crowded the kennels are. He needs someone who will show him kindness and show him love. Can you open your home 🏡 up to him?

He’s a scared boy and should not be sentenced to die. He is kennel stressed after being there so long but that will dissipate once he decompresses out of a kennel environment.

🐾He needs a loving adopter or dedicated foster and reputable Rescue to bail him out of there. If you can help in anyway, please comment below and maybe a plan can come together for him. Please check out his videos in the comments ⬇️ below

❤️🔊 3/27 - Now Deadlined to take a FINAL WALK and be KILLED at Riverside on Tuesday 3/31 at 5 pm if no one gets this precious dog out. Shelters are FULL!!

This adorable dog is about to lose his precious life for absolutely nothing! Likely an error on his kennel card that can cost him his life.

A rescue volunteer visited him. There was NO alarm barking and NO bouncing off of kennel walls. Dogs even passed outside of his kennel and he had NO reaction. What was witnessed was a sad defeated dog. A friendly dog that took treats gently. A precious dog HOWLING for HELP. Please hear his cries. We CANNOT let the shelter KILL this precious dog for space. Please help him get out alive.

Per shelter - Walks very well on a leash. As a precaution use 2 leashes in case he possibly chews through one. It’s always a good idea to double leash new dogs. Don’t want to lose them. Per shelter he played in doggie play groups multiple times. Played with helper dog. Solicits attention from people and has been friendly with staff. Shelter said - “Social with handler and NOT dog reactive.”

Very confusing shelter notes - they labeled his kennel card as not being able to be kenneled with other dogs with NO notes as to why. NO notes as to any kennel fights. He’s clearly been fine with other dogs. He’s been there for 3 months and had kennel mates with no issues. Even if they gave him or any dog kennel mates that didn’t work out, it is NEVER the dogs fault and no dog should have their lives taken for that. 🎥You can clearly see him with other dogs in his shelter yard video.

3/27 - Deadlined to be KILLED at Riverside on THURSDAY 4/2 at 5 pm if no one gets him out. Shelters are FULL!!

Spikes story is just heartbreaking. 💔 His kennel card says “Owner Died.” Unfortunately, that’s not on his shelter link or in any shelter notes we found. How absolutely horrifying that no one in his family cares to give him a loving home. He was apparently FOUND by animal control CHAINED to a TREE. Just discarded like trash. He was noted as licking the officer that freed him from that CHAIN. The officer has to use BOLT CUTTERS to get all the CHAINS off from around his little neck.

Spike lost everything and thought he was finally saved. Sadly, he went from one prison to the next and is now on DEATH ROW. From a chain and a tree to almost 6 MONTHS behind bars. He is barely a year old now. So many puppy months just wasted behind bars. He deserves a loving family and comfy bed. 🙏

Spike has been to play group and had kennel mates. He was recently seen kenneled with a husky named 📍Wallace - . They were seen SNUGGLING wash other for comfort. They get along great. Please help him get out alive. 🙏
📍Wallace needs help too.

Saving them one Paw at a Time

WE ARE NOT THE SHELTER.

Posting animals in need in Rivco locations. Just trying to save as many as we can. Not affiliated in any way with any location. We are NOT the shelter. We do NOT make any decisions on any of the animals. All questions should be directed to Rivco. We post anmals in need based on the animals posted on Rivco’s website and PetHarbor. PetHarbor links are in the posts. We have NO further information than what’s already in the posts. Sending us private messages, will NOT get you more information and we do NOT have time to monitor that inbox. We update posts constantly as updates become available and as time allows. All questions regarding adoption, rescue, status, etc. should be directed to Rivco, NOT us.

We are just trying to help the animals get more exposure, so hopefully they can be adopted by a loving forever family or a reputable rescue can save them. We are not for or against the shelters. Over breeding, not spaying and neutering, dumping and surrendering, not adopting for life, etc., is a society problem. Their is just sadly not enough respect for animals in our society. We can learn so much from them. Sadly, not everyone sees their worth.

We do NOT believe that killing innocent animals should be accepted as normal in any society. These animlas were neglected, abused, unwanted, dumped for any reason-moving, new job, just going through stuff, marriage, divorce, a new pet, a new human baby, failed over and over in so many ways, too many to list them all. Therefore, we created this page. We try to be their voice because they have no voice. They didn’t ask to be born. They didn’t ask to be locked up and they certainly didn’t ask to be walked to their death.
