Look what's NEW at the garden!! It's a "little" bare and could use some help getting started..... It's open to the COMMUNITY, not just gardeners at the garden, so let's get it going! Be looking for a seed swap box to join it soon!!

For the moment it's sitting at the back side of the garden along the fence...

First stage of irrigation for the Monarch Waystation laid out and completed! Thank you to those that came out and helped today! As always a HUGE Thank You to Rich Monavich of Winters Rotary for his guidance and direction in this huge project! We would be so lost without him!!

Rio Vista Roots will be installing the irrigation for the Waystation THIS Sunday and could use as many 🖐️helping hands🖐️ as possible to accomplish this to move on to the next phase!

Rio Vista Roots was blessed with two great donations at our meeting tonight by Misty Spradling-fraser & Kim Harrison! A beautiful bench donated to Kim's mom Penny McCormack and a generous monetary donation to keep the garden growing! Thank you both so much for your support to our Community Garden! Your generosity is much appreciated! The bench will be enjoyed by many for years to come!

We'll also be introducing our plant exchange shelf and hosting a seed exchange/give away! (You did know August is a great month to plant new crops, right?) Didn't forget the Community With Day the second Sunday of the month!!!
