National Police Week will always hold a special place in our hearts. đ
For so many years, Chris served our community as a Deputy with the Bonneville County Sheriffâs Office, and Rachel had the privilege of supporting so many BCSO families through serving as President for the Bonneville County Auxiliary Lodge 8. Those experiences shaped our family deeply, in ways that hard to express in words and gave us a lifelong appreciation for the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers and their families every single day, all across the country.
While the ways we provide support during this week may look a little different now, our hearts for law enforcement have never changed. This is a special week that Idaho Elite K-9 will proudly always support!
National Police Week is a time to recognize the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices of officers across America who choose to serve and protect their communities.
It is also a time of remembrance. Each year on May 15th, Peace Officers Memorial Day gives us the opportunity to pause and honor the brave men and women who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Their sacrifice â and the sacrifice carried by their families, friends, and fellow officers â will never be forgotten.
Today, we had the opportunity to deliver lunch to the agency Chris once proudly served with and see a few familiar faces along the way. Moments like these remind us that no matter where life takes us, the law enforcement community will always feel like family.
To all of the officers, deputies, K-9 teams, and families standing behind the badge â thank you for your service, sacrifice, and commitment to your communities. We see you, we appreciate you, and we honor you this week and always. đ
