It was another busy day around here but my heart is full. When you serve others (humans and animals) and expect nothing in return, you will soon realize that’s it’s the most joyful and rewarding thing you’ve ever done.

Lion was abandoned but is now cozy, fed, and warm.
Little Black Kitty has learned to trust humans again.
TNR cat Barclay knows our patio is a safe space on a rainy day.
Kenna the bipod cat is loved beyond measure (even when it’s hard).
Today was flea meds day thanks to our generous donors. No flea/tick bites.
And, everyone ends the day with a full belly.

Being able to do this for the feral, stray, abandoned and medically challenged cats? It continues to be the honor of my lifetime.
Be a helper or look out for the helpers. 🫶🏻

And just like that a new cat appears. I posted his pic in local lost/found groups in case he has a human. He’s really skittish + really hungry! He ate 3 bowls of food yesterday + he’s learned our schedule. 😺 TY to the helpers who help us feed the hungry cats.

Have you met bipod cat, Kenna? She was found on a busy city street by herself when she was about 3 weeks old. Also, her back legs didn’t work properly.

After many veterinary visits and X-rays, it was discovered that she had spinal damage that was affecting the lower half of her body.

As she started to grow, the nerve damage in her legs got worse and she started to bite and attack her own legs. After multiple consultations, amputation was determined to be the only choice to give her a good quality of life.

Today, she races around our home with our rescue cats. Kenna is a happy, active, sweet girl but she does suffer from chronic bladder infections.
