That's right, the HELP the Animals Pet Costume Contest and Pet Walk is just a few days away! Are you ready for the cutest, most creative, and most heartwarming event of the summer?

This Saturday, Glenn Miller Park will be transformed into a runway for the most fabulous pets in Richmond! We're talking about a morning filled with laughter, community spirit, and wagging tails, all to support the incredible animals at our shelter.

Whether you've had a costume planned for months or are just feeling a spark of last-minute inspiration, we want to see you there!

Here’s the plan for the big day:

WHEN: This Saturday, July 19th!

WHERE: Glenn Miller Park

9:00 AM: Arrive and get registered. Find our table and sign up for all the fun!
10:00 AM: It's showtime! The Pet Costume Contest begins. Prepare to be amazed!
10:30 AM: We hit the path for a beautiful summer Pet Walk.

This is your last chance to be a part of this amazing day. Grab your leash, your pet, your friends, and your family, and join us for a morning of unforgettable fun for a paws-itively wonderful cause!

We are hiring! We have multiple positions available, including Pet Adoption Counselor! Want to help people find their newest family member? Come join our adoptions team!

The hours for this position are a set schedule Tuesday through Friday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturdays 11:00 to 4:00 with occasional extra hours for events. This position requires a friendly face, an open mind, and lots of customer service skills.

Must be reliable and have consistent transportation.

This handsome young Boxer won over every single one of us after being found as a stray. Wyatt’s story is one of true resilience, and his love for people (and their faces!) is contagious. He is the perfect example of why we do what we do.
