Heart's Companion Heart's Companion Pet Memorial Center Heart's Companion is more than just a Pet Memorial Center.

We believe in being involved in the life of your pet before our services are needed. We care deeply for our own pets and feel they deserve an incredible life full of fun things to do and lots of love. We are honored to be a part of the local community and to share in celebrating the specific benefits that pet ownership can bring. As our way of giving back to the Reno area, we sponsor non-profit pe

t events, participate in adoption drives, are members of the historic downtown merchants group, work with local pet stores to promote local community events, and provide free cremation services to local service animals to honor them for their life of service to the community as our way of saying, “Thank you, and a job well done.”

Our facility is a fully renovated home, located in historic downtown Reno, where the tranquility of the Truckee River can bring peace to a troubled mind and heart. All of our services are performed on our premises with state of the art, modern equipment. Our purpose is to provide your special animal with gentle, reverent aftercare, and support you through the difficult process of losing your heart's companion.

We love hearing from our customers about their experience. We are so happy we could be there for you during this hard time.

It was time for our beloved Bella to leave us and we decided for in home euthanasia. Dr. Susan Brockus came to our home. She was very compassionate and caring. She did not rush the process and let us decide when the time was right. She was so gentle with our girl and her passing seemed easy for Bella. We are grateful for Dr. Brockus very her caring and calm demeanor from the beginning to the end. All at Hearts Companion were very caring and helped us through the entire process. This is the second pet that Hearts Companion helped us with. We are very grateful to all. Our beloved Garin and Bella.

There is nothing easy about losing a pet but this company helped the process go as smoothly as possible. When I called to get pricing right after our pet passed, Sierra was incredibly gentle and understanding even though I was crying and hard to understand. The price was so reasonable that it lifted the stress of a sudden passing for us. What brought me to write a review was them including trimmings of our pet's hair with her remains when they were delivered. We didn't ask or think to ask but it means the world. I can't recommend them more. 😭❤️🌈
