Do you need a reservation to get a cup of coffee? You are welcome to come in and grab a drink, snack, or have a meeting. We have two separate parts of the business. The café space is open to the public with no reservation required. The C

We do offer gluten-free and vegan options. We can't guarantee the availability of a particular item. Do I need tickets to visit the Cat Lounge? Tickets are required for Cat Lounge Access. Did you know, the average cost to care for 1 kitty annually is $1,000? 🙀 That could be up to $20,000 for a cat’s entire life!

On average, an exam, spay/neuter, core vaccines and a microchip, costs ‼️$632‼️ to get a kitty ready for adoption. This does not include supplies such as food, litter and enrichment, nor does it include any additional veterinary care that may be needed, such as emergencies or medications.

Kitty Kisses Rescue of Reno has taken in 92 felines in 2025 so far. The rough math on that is $58,144 spent just for basic adoption preparation. Adoption fees are $110 (cats) or $125 (kittens) which, only gives a return of $11,500, leaving a deficit of $46,644.

As a public charity, this is why fundraising is imperative, so we can continue to help the community and the little lives that depend on us for help. While we serve the public, we also rely on it to assist with funding. We are happy to do the hard, sometimes heartbreaking, but fulfilling work - all we need is the support from the community. We are so thankful for the community we have built already!
