Over the years, I have learned that opinions are often formed based on rumors, assumptions, or only part of a story. Unfortunately, that is an inherent aspect of operating in a public space and sharing one's work openly.
I have always been willing to answer questions directly and transparently. My phone is available, my door is open, and anyone who would like to learn more about how my dogs are raised, cared for, or why I make certain decisions is welcome to reach out. I believe honest, respectful conversations are far more productive than allowing misunderstandings to develop through speculation or secondhand information.
I do not engage in gossip, encourage division, or discuss others behind their backs. Instead, I remain committed to transparency, to the well-being of my dogs, and to making decisions based on what I believe is in their best interest. I understand that not everyone will agree with every decision I make, and I respect that. What matters most to me is being able to explain those decisions openly and stand behind them with integrity and confidence.
I also believe that if questions arise about a person, a dog, or a program, the most professional approach is to have those conversations directly rather than through third parties.
Ultimately, my reputation is not built on rumors or assumptions. It is built on years of relationships, the families who have welcomed my puppies into their homes, the dogs that have always had a place to return if needed, and the individuals who have worked with me and my dogs firsthand. It is built on ongoing communication, support, accountability, and trust developed over time.
Those who know me personally understand that my commitment has always been to the welfare of my dogs and to the people who place their trust in me. That commitment remains unchanged and will continue to guide everything I do.
For me, that is what matters most.
