Reminder of the Paws fall raffle basket drawing is this Saturday at 1:00 pm at Pet Sense. The basket is full of great items from our local businesses who support our mission to continue to be the voice for the voiceless! For everyone who buys a ticket you can grab a complimentary collar or leash donated by our wonderful friends at Pet Sense (while supplies last). 100% of the proceeds go towards the medical care for the rescues.

Got to spend some time with Myrtle today. She still has a really long road ahead of her. Just for her to be able to trust that no one is going to hurt ever again. This is one of the hard parts of rescuing animals. I wish she would know she is ok from here on out.

Sweet Myrtle is a warrior! She is making progress in just a few days. This is a testament of her fighting spirit and the wonderful care she is getting at Animal Medical Clinic. She did test positive for heartworms, Ehrlichia, and has demodex mange all of which she will need to be treated for. If anyone would like to become part of her epic recovery and help be part of her transformation, you can make a donation in her name at Animal Medical Clinic (601-636-9410), mail a check to Paws at POX 13, Redwood 39156 or paypal at [email protected]. She has a long way to go, but she is definitely heading in the right direction!
