Gone to the Dogs Rescue Inc.'s mission is to rescue and rehabilitate pets at risk of euthanasia at the highest-kill shelters in the Los Angeles area. Vision

Gone to the Dogs Rescue makes educated decisions based on inherent compassion, education, honesty, ethics, and altruistic intention to rescue homeless pets. We have an accountability for decisions, actions, and behaviors that affect the safety and well-being of our animals, our volunteers and the community we serve. We have a responsibility to educate the community regarding the importance of accountable pet parenting, spay/neuter, and promotion of pet health.

, formerly Storm from SLA had a little meet & greet with Cooper, a rambunctious coonhound. It went well, we have a planned play date on the central coast Monday evening. We know Thistle is a well behaved and smart gal, can she learn to love Cooper and share her humans? Here’s hoping she can co-exist with a big dude in harmony ❤️🐕 thanks to for all your help in training and socializing Thistle 🙌🏽

Oscar is coming out of his shell ❤️ foster mom says he’s a soft dog who just started feeling comfortable in a home. He’s sweet, low key & easy to love. Healing up nicely from his neuter surgery & will be ready for forever soon. We are looking for a calm and patient home for him, where he can continue his growth & trust. stats: possible schnoodle, 19lbs, neutered male. Rescued from South LA shelter on euthanasia list.
