Unfortunately after several attempts at help with Moe, the family has decided to return him today. They run a business with 30+ people coming in and out, Moe was tethered most of the business time to prevent him from running up to the door, but he’s started to bark at people (mostly older) clients coming in. Things got hopeful for a few weeks but they’ve given up & in. They’ve decided he’s too much dog for them & no longer want to take that responsibility. Ok, I get that. We asked to help us again bc yep, again, no fosters are available to help, or at least anyone who can keep him separate from other dogs. So he’s on his way back to us, again. This is so heartbreaking for us, and especially for Moe. Springdale has run out of space & his time is limited for staying there, so this is very temporary. We’re heartbreakingly asking you to share, far & wide. MOE needs patience, he needs strong leadership & big dog experience. He is the best companion and bonds easily. He needs to be the only pet in the home, with a good fenced yard, and not too many ins and outs from strangers. Maybe a retired couple or senior who is looking for a companion? He’s great off leash, his recall is very good but he will be protective over the property & his people. We can use all the help we can get with perspective fosters, volunteers to come walk/hike him, or any potential adopters for Moe. Please DM us if you’re interested in helping this VERY good and obedient boy who needs stability, kindness & experience. Thank you 😔🙏🏼
