Meet Lizzie – Your Loyal Little Shadow

Lizzie is an adorable 8-year-old Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie mix) with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. She absolutely adores cuddling and being close to her person—whether she’s snuggling on the couch, resting at your feet, or following you from room to room, Lizzie is happiest when she’s by your side.

She enjoys the company of her foster dog siblings and gets along well with other small dogs, but she’d also be perfectly content as the only pup in the home. Lizzie is flexible—as long as she’s loved!

Lizzie has lost most of her teeth, but that doesn’t slow her down at all. She recently had a dental cleaning, eats just fine, and is otherwise in great health.

At bedtime, Lizzie would love nothing more than to sleep in the big bed with you—she tends to cry if she knows you’re in bed but she’s not right there with you. She truly just wants to be close and feel secure.

Lizzie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find her forever home where she can enjoy the comfort, warmth, and companionship she craves.

Cooper is waiting patiently for the perfect family to swoop him up and give him his perfect forever home, are you the one!

Meet Cooper an endearing 8-year-old male Yorkshire Terrier, weighing a delicate 4 pounds. This sweet senior is seeking a serene and understanding home where he can truly thrive. Cooper's low energy level makes him the perfect lap dog, and while he may be a bit shy initially, his affectionate nature shines through once he feels comfortable and safe.
To ensure Cooper's happiness and safety, his ideal home will be without small children. He is good with other dogs big and small but is not cat tested so not sure how he would react. A securely fenced yard would be ideal, but not a must. He continues to do well on a leash. Due to having no teeth, Cooper requires a soft food diet. He's also currently working on his house-training and would benefit from a patient family dedicated to helping him master it. Cooper prefers not to be crated, so a home that can offer him a secure, open space to relax would be wonderful.
Cooper is neutered and microchipped and up to date on all his shots. He is also on flea, tick and heartworm medication which must be continued at his new home. He will also need regular grooming.
He is being fostered in York PA so approved applicants will have to travel to York for a meet and greet with all members of the household including existing dogs in the home before being approved for adoption.

Meet Allison, the 16-week-old German Shepherd puppy who’s redefining what it means to be pawsitively unstoppable! 🐾💥

Born without a back foot, Allison was surrendered by a breeder—but don’t feel bad for her. This girl is living her best tripod life and absolutely crushing it!

✨ Fast Facts:
• 16 weeks old, ~20 lbs (and growing into a big, beautiful shepherd!)
• Loves: dogs, cats, people, toys, shoes, and chaos (the fun kind)
• Hobbies: zoomies, snuggles, and being the cutest thing in any room
• Special skills: riding shotgun on coffee runs and melting hearts

Allison is looking for a home with:

If you are looking for the perfect mix of couch pitato and fun, Leah, the happy happy house hippo is surely the pup for you! Leah is a 5 year old, friendly, female pit mix who was an ESA for her disabled owner for 5 years. She sadly had to be surrendered when her owner became very ill and had to move into a facility. Although Leah very obviously misses her person, she still maintains a very happy, outgoing demeanor and is the most lovable 86 pound lap dog you’ll ever meet!

Leah is a big ball of fun and just wants to be close to you! She enjoys playing with toys, chewing on bones, going on walks, and spends 95% of her day belly up waiting for pets. She knows the commands sit, lay, shake, and roll over. She is crate trained and 100% potty trained. Leah’s best quirk is her adorable head tilt when you speak to her, as if she’s trying to tune in to your station.

She currently shares a foster home with 6 other large dogs of both sexes, and a feline friend. She has had great interactions with her housemates, as well as in play group at the city shelter.

Her previous owner stated she was good with children, but does not know her size, so children 10+ would be best!

She is strong on leash and will require an owner who is good on their feet for walks—something that is new to this oversized queen! Daily exercise and a continued diet plan will help Leah become the healthiest version of herself. She is down 5 pounds since coming home to her foster family and looks forward to her slimmer days!

Just two days after being rescued, our sweet Maisie surprised us all by giving birth to one adorable little puppy. 🐾❤️

We would love to know more about her baby—what breeds make him unique, and what kind of future we might need to prepare for. A DNA kit would help give us the answers we need to provide him with the best care and find the right forever home.

"HI! I'M ATLAS!
I might be named after the guy who carries the weight of the world, but I am about as light-hearted and worry free as it gets! I am having a good time, all the time!
I am always down to go somewhere in the car, go for a walk, play ball, or even just chill on the couch! I never meet a stranger - every one is a friend to me!
I am 9 years young, and just as rambunctious and spry as the younger dogs in my foster home! I have no problem keeping up. That being said, sometimes I overdo it with the running and goofing off. My foster mom and dad are trying to teach me how to pace myself so I don't feel sore the next day if I'm jumping around and wrestling my foster sister.
I was surrendered from a breeding kennel, and I am definitely loving my retirement! I'm all about adventures, play, cuddles, and snacks!
I am crate trained, and happily walk on a leash, but I am still learning house training. My foster family uses belly wraps to help remind me not to go p*e in the house. I have been learning fast and soon I don't think I'll need the wrap to remind me!
I am good with other dogs, but I do prefer females or non-dominant males.

I am a happy go lucky, all around good boy, and i hope to meet you soon!"

Atlas is being fostered in Southern Lancaster County and interested adopters must come to his foster home twice. The first visit is a meet and greet with all the members of the household including existing dogs in the home. The second visit is to take him home. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for heartworm. He is routinely treated with parasite preventatives.

Meet Hopper – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Patient Home
🐾 1-Year-Old Male | Poodle-Bichon Mix 🐾
Hopper is a quiet, sensitive pup with a heart that’s still learning how to trust. Estimated to be around 2 years old, this fluffy Poodle-Bichon mix has had a tough start to life and is still figuring out what it means to feel safe and loved.
Hopper is not your typical cuddle bug—yet. He prefers to admire you from a short distance, following you from room to room like a quiet shadow, but he's not ready for hands-on affection. Attempts to pet him still make him nervous, and he may retreat if approached too quickly. With time, consistency, and patience, there is potential for him to come around, but his adopter must be comfortable with a dog who may always have personal boundaries.
He enjoys:
🧸 Playing with his toys (especially when no one is watching!)
🐾 Spending quiet time near his trusted person
🛁 Grooming appointments (he's a pro for the groomer!)
💊 Vet visits and at-home treatments (he handles them well)
He seems to get along with other dogs, but he should be monitored during play, as he can become reactive if overstimulated. A calm canine companion could be a good fit, but proper introductions and supervision are key.
Ideal Home:
Adults only or quiet household with older, dog-savvy children
Experience with shy, under-socialized dogs preferred
A fenced yard or secure space would be a plus
A patient and gentle adopter who is comfortable allowing Hopper to set the pace
