💙 An Update From Our Rescue Family 💙

We’re finally able to share some hopeful news — we have started working our way through our waitlist again. While we’re not able to add new names to the list just yet, we are beginning to schedule intakes.

If you’re currently on our waitlist and haven’t heard from us, please be patient with us — it likely just means we haven’t reached your spot yet. That said, you’re always welcome to check in to be sure no messages were missed. We truly appreciate your understanding as we carefully balance the needs of so many cats.

🐾 Our Most Recent Intake 🐾
Our newest girl didn’t come from the waitlist, but from an urgent request by local law enforcement. Her world has changed forever — her owners will not be returning home, and she now needs a new family to love her.

She is a very sweet, big-hearted girl, though we don’t yet know much about her history. She’ll be heading to the vet soon for a full health check and to get up to date on everything she needs. Most importantly, she’ll be given something that can’t be rushed: time. Time to grieve the loss of her home, her people, and the life she knew.

We’re giving her all the patience and gentleness she deserves — and already, she’s starting to come around. 💕

🐾 New Paws at Petsmart!! 🐾

Spice is a 4 mo old bottle baby ready to snuggle her way right into your lap! She will need lots of attention

Tala is 10 months old and has big personality for such a small kitty! She would love to demand all your affection and keep you entertained!

Cider is 8 months old and has such a soft personality. She is extremely grateful for love and will completely devote herself to you!

Tecate is 6 months old and gaining her confidence but all it takes is one pet and she melts right into your arms!

Clayton is 3 yrs old and the perfect cat. He’s handsome, laidback and sweet as honey! The only thing he needs is a family to call his own

Jeanie is 2yrs old but has the personality of a kitten. She loves to play as hard as she loves! She isn’t opposed to playing dress up 👗

So happy to share some good news! 🐾

Opal and Wafer have officially found their perfect new home—as working cats! 🐱🐱
Not every kitty is meant to be a cuddly indoor companion, and these two let us know that pretty clearly. Instead of forcing a lifestyle that didn’t suit them, we found a place where they can truly thrive.

They’ll have:
• 🐭 All the mice they can catch
• 🏡 Safe, secure enclosures
• 🍽️ Reliable food and fresh water
• 💛 And as much love and respect as they’re comfortable accepting

This is a win for Opal, a win for Wafer, and a win for everyone involved. We’re so grateful for solutions like working cat homes that honor each cat’s personality and needs. Wishing these two the very best in their new chapter! 🐾✨

✨ New Year’s Eve – 2025 Rescue Recap ✨

This year looked different for us. Due to many family changes among our volunteers, we had to decrease our intake capacity—but even with those challenges, we are incredibly proud of what we were able to do together.

🐾 2025 by the numbers:
• 166 cats taken into our care
• 156 placed into loving homes
• 2 safely returned to their feral colonies
• 15 we fought hard for but sadly lost

Every number represents a life that mattered, a chance given, and a team that showed up with compassion—even when it wasn’t easy.

As we welcome the New Year, we’re grateful for our volunteers, adopters, supporters, and community who make this work possible. 💙
