Adam beginning core stabilization and block stands tonight, small duration. We took two step stools with grippy tape and placed them a good distance apart measuring the length of the body. My goal in time will be to edge his rear feet to the front of the rear stand so he can use his toes to push into the stack, and get his fronts at a comfortable spot to relax. In time with reps and duration I will have the front stand moved forward a tad and those toes working! He rolls back off his toes onto the heel which means his little muscles need conditioning! I had to make some adjustments but could tell he differed in his front from his hind so we kept the blocks here for this first time to let him figure out his feet as it's where he was comfortable. The block stand will help him balance out for standing on the ground in the ring. Create the muscle memory and strengthen core muscles used in the sport

Mia is such a hefty influence in dog training, and seeing the little Basset butt at the end just makes me think I saw this for a reason - Mia is heading to the US. I am wanting to take her integral program for my career.

Board and train alumni Noodles is back here for a training touch up. He's matured really nicely but his recall is needing work and he is back to pulling on the lead. Working in those foundations and criteria, then adding some new to ensure it sticks. Something a little more sustainable for his family. I'm very happy to have him back especially since he has cooled down quite a bit from that wild boy he was as a baby ❤️

Took Adam into Johnson's with very little obedience criteria to let him figure out environmentals. A 15 minute walk through this store put him out for the day! ❤️

Our sweet boy is heading to the Portland Expo Center for a weekend of fun with his besties! January 15-18

Please wish my boy the best of luck! We have been working on his ringside manner and stabilizing that core for stacking. As always the invite is open to swing by and see the big man in action. He's doing awesome with training at home and just betters with age.

Some days I really do feel I'm escaping with my life when I have to walk back and forth from the studio to the house in the dark without my 🔫 😩 Anyway, we're back up and running for lessons. I promised on my Facebook that I would give an update regarding weather and lessons. There are still severe weather warnings in effect, but I did drive normal routes for work today and all were clear! We are back in business 😎 If you need time off for the holidays just get back in touch with me after! Merry Christmas!
