Today I had the privelege of attending a Geriatric Equine Exercise Workshop at SunCatcher Therapeutic Riding Academy. It was such an inspiring experience, setting positive intentions, moving at the horses pace instead of our own, and watching them relax through subtle touch along their meridian lines and with exercises to help them with proprioception.
Clinician Peggy Smith was a wealth of knowledge centering around the Masterson Method and an absolute joy to learn from. I left feeling grounded, grateful, and excited to apply what I learned both in my farrier work and with my own horse!
