We headed off to the Nile this week and competed in the Ranch riding and trail. Took one of Luey's babies as well. We all did pretty well! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to ask about him and all the compliments. We are pretty proud of this boy and plan to show him more next year.

These babies this year are so easy going! Moat are halter broke and can easily catch in the field and walk around, still more training to go, but they sure are easy.

Breeding season is underway on the ranch, Luey has his first girlfriend of the year onsite. Thank you to all of our mare owners that choose Luey for your breeding needs. We do have a couple breedings left if interested.
We have 4 foals of his on the ground as well if you want to see the quality that he produces. 3 more on the way.

If you are looking to breed to Docs Peppy Concord this year, please let us know by 4/30. We will no longer be accepting any mares after 5/1. Will need to have signed contract and deposit paid by 5/1. Only 1-2 spots remain depending on current interests.

We attended a training clinic last week and got to run down the old horse track a couple times. Luey did great with all the horses and mules going through the sale, the commotion and people too. He is such a nice quiet stud, very respectful. As for riding he is incredibly sensitive and quick. He will be fun as we continue his training and riding career. We clocked 18mph after riding around in the afternoon clinic. Will be fun to see again another time how fast we can go :).

His first baby is due next Monday, but I have a strong feeling momma will be late again this year haha.
