A message I recieved from Caitlin Hulbert this morning with an update on Draco....

"You will be happy to know that the king is taking to the ranch very well. People gather on trail to take photos with him and he holds himself up for the pics. Hes a dream to walk and nothing phases him...well maybe for the stubborn ass we have wondering the yard. The bitter annoying borders who once criticized us for getting a stallion c**t now just stare and ask "is he always so quiet?" As we go to fetch him from the arena and they are spinning in circles with their 15yr old gelding. He greets everyone and loves the attention. People looooove him. He loves to "help" us clean his straw and fill buckets. He takes to things easily and is just a wonderful c**t. He came out far better than i can ever imagine. He"s still getting used to the terrain of the hills but he loves to go on walks. Him and maggie or a working progress but they'll get there. Thank you and gwen and denise for giving us the king of the hollywood hills"

I wanted to thank one of our awesome Buyers, Kelsey Hulbert for this really nice post about purchasing foals in utero from us. We strive to make the experience the best in can be, and we love when the experience is just as good for our buyers as it is for us. All of our foals are imprinted at birth and before they leave here, we make sure they each get a lot of handling, deswnsitizing, learn to pick up their feet for the farrier, halter/lead training, bath and learn to trailer load. Our foals are given so much affection, they easily greet you at the gate. The weaning process involves moving the foal in with Uncle Capone, our rescue gelding, that was a herd sire at one time and he puts herd manners on these little guys before they leave. Capone is not only a GREAT teacher, he takes his charges seriously and when foals are turned out with other horses, Uncle Capone protects them from the others. It is quite a sight to watch. Live foal guarantee.
