I've been slacking on sneak peeks and I know Zoey's mom has been waiting so patiently. Many of you may recognize this famous girl. Miss Zoey attends many events with her infamous cars...(that's right, she has more than one). She is the sweetest princess and I'm honored to have had the chance to photograph Zoey. If you see Zoey around town stop and say hello!
And you didn't think she could get any cuter....seriously! Be still my heart!

When you are trying to take pictures of your adorable foster puppy by yourself, well, things don't always go as planned. Haha...Meet Zuzu, my adorable foster pup! She is already adoption pending and will be going to her new home in a few weeks once she's old enough and has been spayed.
What do you do when you find some pretty wildflowers near your house? Take your dogs out for a few quick pictures of course, (with the help of my neighbor's daughter). =)
We'll call this one "Focus"...lol...Ruth really wants her treat. 😂

Okay, I know, I know, I've already shared a few sneak peeks of Duke, however, I think this handsome 12 year old boy deserves one more post. 😍 He's just so adorable!

When God gives you beautiful flowering trees AND wind...well, you roll with it and hope for the best. 😂 These were my favorites of my girl, Bougie, where her ears weren't totally blown back, (one is up in one, but it still works...haha). I just had to capture some of her by these gorgeous blooms before the wind and storms blew them away.
I'm also realizing that no matter what kind of colored back drop you put a gray next to, they still don't "pop" like other dogs. Haha...either way, I still think she's adorable and wouldn't trade her for the world!

It's always fun getting an email saying one of my images through #imageswithheart sold! Images with Heart is a stock photography library through #heartsspeak where companies can purchase images from Hearts Speak Artist Members like myself. All funds raised through this program support homeless animals. I'm proud to be an artist member and it's just another way I can give back to helping adoptable animals.

Although Duke may appear intimidating if you were to see him in person, (I swear his head is as big as mine 😂), he is actually the sweetest senior boy ever. In fact, if it were up to Duke, he would have been in my lap the entire session. I just love him so much and I'm so glad I had the chance to photograph this 12 year old boy.
Just wanted to post another sneak peak of Bosley with her parents. This is a reminder to everyone to not overlook adopting a senior pet. They have so much love left to give. I'm shedding tears of sadness as I post this sneak peek. When Bosley's parents contacted me this week to do a "Celebration of Life" session and explained Bosley's condition, of course I just had to get her in. I'm so honored that I had the chance to meet and photograph this sweet girl. You may recognize Bosley from Cogs Dogs page. Her parents not only give back to senior dogs in rescue through their company, (Cogs Dogs), but also adopt senior dogs. Bosley may have only spent a few short years with them, but it was a lifetime to her parents who loved her with their whole hearts. I'm so glad that Bosley had the chance to spend her golden years being so loved and spoiled. My heart goes out to her family and they will remain in my prayers. RIP sweet girl, until we meet again. 🐾❤️
Meet Charcoal! This adorable boy is available for adoption through Hands, Hearts and Paws Rescue. He is approximately 26lbs, (and I'm pretty sure it's all in legs and ears....haha). He is a fun boy that loves people and dogs and even does okay with cats. He would do best with children over 10 years old. He does well on walks and car rides also. Meet Capable, (aka Peggy)! She is the sweetest little tri-pod you will ever meet! Peggy (Capable) was hit by a car, (prior to rescue), and the bone was too damaged to repair. She was in a lot of pain and the rescue's vets decided she would be better off without that leg, (and no more pain). Peggy (Capable) can do anything a 4-legged dog can do. She loves to run and play and go for walks and car rides. She also does very well keeping up with her foster siblings when playing. She loves carrying around her "babies", (stuffies), and even taking them outside too. Peggy (Capable) does need slower introductions to other dogs, but once she warms up to them she is their best buddy. She'll even snuggle with them, (and you). She prefers older children in the home, (older than 8 years old). Peggy (Capable) is a pretty laid back dog that is kennel trained and potty trained. Okay, I'm only sharing another image of Ruby for the sake of showing others that even if you have a red/tan/brown dog, they can still be photographed in "winter colors" and still look amazing. A lot of people think if their dog is red/tan/brown, that they need to have more color around them, but this is not true. Dogs with this coloring actually photograph very well in all settings! In fact, it's one of my very favorite colors to photograph!
The many faces of Miss Ruby. 😂 She is just too cute and makes me smile. I may have to share more pics of her once her parents see her gallery...haha...now, back to putting her final edits together.
My foster, Peña, was officially adopted yesterday! (Although she gets to stay with us a few weeks until her new dad is back from a business trip). =) Since, I was going to share these this week anyway, here are a few pictures of her for her 1st birthday, (that was on the 27th).

Check out this cutie patootie available for adoption through Hands, Hearts and Paws! Marcus is a smaller lab mix, (who will be a year old in May). He looks much bigger in his pictures than he really is. To give you an idea of his size, he is about 38lbs, (currently), and comes up to my knees. He's going to be a perfect medium sized dog.
Marcus is such a sweet boy. He is really shy at first, but once he warms up to his surroundings, he comes out of his shell. In his foster home, he loves to play with his fur siblings and then cuddle up with them or his foster mom. Don't dismiss checking this handsome boy out just because he is shy.

When you're stuck in quarantine still with the 'rona...bored out of your mind...procrastinating prepping the last of your paperwork for your tax guy...but too tired to clean the house, what do you do? Make your dog take a few pictures of course. Lol...Bougie was happy to oblige for treats.
I decided to re-do my dogs' DNA tests, since last time I tested them was 8 years ago, (with the exception of Bougie, who we recently adopted). Back then, the tests could only register the breed if the DNA matched at least 12% or higher. Now it can read it all the way down to 1%! Here are my dogs, Bougie, Dale and Linus' results.

Now that Christmas is over I can finally post a sneak peek of the adorable senior Flap Jack. Not only is he the sweetest boy, but he has such a fun name too! I'm so glad his mom contacted me to surprise her husband with pictures of their "fur" baby. =)
