Shelby Gardens by Peter Hedrick Shelby Gardens is a Water Garden design and installation company focusing on Waterfall Container Gardens. Each Waterfall Container is truly one of a kind.

We search by hand the sands of the Intracoastal Waterway, the Cape Fear River and the beaches of Wrightsville and Carolina Beach North Carolina for the most unique pieces of driftwood. The driftwood is placed into a sculpted base of cement and hypertufa. The base is then set into a handmade container box. Each Waterfall Container Garden is handcrafted, start to finish. With over 20 years experienc

e in the water gardening industry, we have been featured on HGTV Designers Challenge, NECN Dream House, This Old House, and NH Chronicle. We were also invited to participate on Animal Planet's Pool Master San Diego Episode. We are based out of Wilmington, NC and are enjoying the soft Southern Beauty of Eastern North Carolina.
