We belive that pets are happier AND safer in their home environment. We will not only provide the best care but will keep you updated on your pet via text photos and messages. We have experience with pets who require medicine or insulin injections. Our services include making your home look occupied while you're away. Lights are rotated during evening visits, plants watered, trash cans taken in/ou
t and pool tabs added. And, of course, pet waste is cleaned up and disposed. We are finger printed and background checked through the Arizona Department of Public Safety. We have owned large livestock: horses, steer, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, reptiles, fish and more (in addition to the 10 kids we've raised)! We are active in our local 4-H and FFA groups. References readily available.

It’s that time of year again. Yesterday we found a tiny one, about the size of a quarter, in our backyard. While he’s cute as can be-he’s deadly if our dogs decide to have him as a snack.
DANGERS OF MONSOON SEASON!
There is a big toad that lives in Arizona -- The Sonoran Desert Toad (a.k.a., the Colorado River Toad). The toad emerges from the ground during monsoon season.
The toad is covered with poison. When a pet licks one, the poison is absorbed very rapidly through the pet's mouth. The signs that you will see are first drooling then frothing and then collapse.
Use a garden hose to rinse your pet's mouth. Then bring your pet to a veterinarian immediately. Even low doses of the toad’s poison may be fatal without proper treatment.

I had the opportunity to help get this sweet boy back to his family. He had a microchip and the information was current. Vet said they get some pets whose chip isn't even registered.
