WHO WE ARE:
2nd Chance Dog Rescue is a 501C3 non profit organization dedicated to saving the severely injured, sick, abused and abandoned dogs in need. We provide them with the proper medical and loving foster homes where they can recover from; not only their medical condition, but, also from their emotional trauma. We also rescue seniors dogs who have been abandoned by their owners when they need

ed them the most. We have opened our homes and hearts to them in hopes of finding them their forever home. We are also a partner of PACC911 and their critical care program. To support our cause:

On behalf of 2nd "Chance" Dog Rescue, Buddy and his dad Daniel. Thank you to everyone who made a donation. With your generosity, Buddy was able to have surgery and is on his way home . The wound is extremely deep and there may be nerve damage, but surgery was a success. Thank you!!

On behalf of 2nd "Chance" Dog Rescue, Buddy and his dad Daniel. Thank you to everyone who made a donation. With your generosity, Buddy was able to have surgery and is on his way home . The wound is extremely deep and there may be nerve damage, but surgery was a success. Thank you!!

Buddy needs our help. This sweet boy was playing in his yard when he stepped on a sharp object, owner immediately rushed him to the ER and was told that Buddy would need to be sedated, surgery and antibiotics, they quoted him $950. Sadly owner doesn’t have the funds so he was sent home. Any type of injury to a paw is extremely painful and the type of injury Buddy has needs immediate care. Owner is desperately looking for help and reached out to Lisa Walter. As soon as I/ 2nd Chance Dog Rescue read his story we reached out to help.

Lisa/Buddy and his owner are back at VEG under 2nd "Chance" Dog Rescue. Buddy’s wound is very deep, past the fat layer towards bones. There's concern he may have injured the nerves or tendon but they won't know under they sedate him, which they are doing now.

2nd Chance had to pay for the estimate in order for them to sedate Buddy, but chances are he will need surgery and the bill will increase.
