The final puppy went to his new home tonight! As always, it’s bittersweet when each puppy leaves, but as this was Maya’s final liter, it was even harder to say goodbye knowing it was the last 🥹

Thank you to everyone who has helped us these past 8 weeks, having 7 puppies to take care of and a newborn was quite an adventure!

Thank you to all the families who welcomed one of Moose & Maya’s puppies into their homes, we love seeing all the updates and pictures of the sweetest pups! ❤️

7 weeks! 🐾

The puppies experienced another snowstorm, had lots of visitors and playtime! This coming week they go to the vet and then will get to go to their new homes!

6 weeks old! 🐾

The puppies continue to get bigger and bigger! Their favorite thing to do right now is to eat and have lots of play time! Just 2 more weeks until they go to their new homes!

This past week the puppies moved to a much bigger play area and everyone officially met their future families! They are the sweetest group of puppies!

This past week the puppies started to meet their new owners! They have become much more playful and are starting to get teeth, which means solid food starts this coming week 👀

The puppies are continuing to get bigger and bigger and are becoming a lot more vocal! They are walking a lot better and are starting to play with each other!

This past week all the puppies have doubled their birth weight and are opening their eyes 👀 Maya is a champ and is the best mom! As of now we have 1 female still available!

We often get asked about the white patch on our puppies heads, this explains where it comes from!

Maya had this white patch as a puppy!

Those small white patches sometimes seen on a Golden’s chest or toes are a genetic nod to the breeds that helped shape the Golden Retriever in the late 1800s 💛

Early Goldens were developed using yellow Wavy-Coated Retrievers, the now-extinct Tweed Water Spaniel, and later influences from Irish Setters and other retriever-type dogs. Many of these foundation breeds commonly carried white markings, especially on the chest and feet.

✨ These markings are a natural part of the breed’s genetic history
✨ They don’t affect health, ability, or temperament
✨ While today’s conformation standard favors solid golden coloring, white markings are simply a glimpse into the Golden’s past

A little white just tells a bigger story—proof of the thoughtful breeding that created the loving, versatile Golden Retriever we adore today 🐶💛
