Come on a trail ride with us.

4 mile loop, condensed to under 4 minutes. 😁

From last week’s ride. We tackled the Silvermine Horse camp loop.

We ended up cutting through on a shorter path that wasn’t well marked, so the AllTrials map was absolutely necessary. Wild terrain, but the girls handled it like pro trail horses. And considering they are formerly wild mustangs, it’s their thing. 💕

This was Dream’s second off-property trial ride and Vegas’ first. We are super proud of both girls.

Finally got to wash Dream's mane and tail for the first time!

Last year it was too dry; drought-like conditions wouldn't allow for horse bathing on a low well.

She acts like a pro with everything I throw at her.

A bit of fascia-release work to end our evening.

Allecia, It still amazes me how the off-body process works.
This is the key areas of my work with Dream today. In total, we worked on the spine for 20+ minutes. This was midway and at the end.
About half-way through she came over to me as if to ask, “how are your doing this”.

A little pedestal work today.

It’s been a while since we had some fun with the pedestal. Today we practiced “stay” in place. Then practiced a little more body control - keeping her front feet on the pedestal and stepping her hindquarters around. This was a first for her and after a few minutes she was doing great!

Beautiful sunny night for a ride.
So much wind next door though.

Another “first” tonight. Riding with horses other than her stablemates.
Very good practice, and she was amazing.
Even though she was slightly distracted, she kept an eye on me while we worked. She wasn’t bothered by the gelding at all.

So good! 😊
