We had to build up the floor and make it level and add mats to Spyros paddock barn! Just have to add bedding and he we will be ready for him when he gets weaned! I am wanting to paint all the run ins black to match the fence!

I was just looking at all my photos and realized.. why is my best horses always bays 😅😅 we had Dillon my teenage heart horse he was the gateway to the addiction of barrel racing, we had Money Mare the freight train, and now Joey ( even tho Joey was bought for my daughter ) . I did have dinero he was a sorrel with flaxen and Spyro will be my first palomino, fun fact I have NEVER owned a palomino. 😀 ( fun fact I have bad memory I actually did own a palomino Frenchman’s guy filly for 6 months ) hahaha I traded her for money mare!

Question for my fellow Indiana barrel racers! 🤍

For those of you actively running IBRA, NBHA, or any other associations, which one do you run the most, and why?

We’re planning to become members again next season (maybe one… maybe all of them 😅) and really get back into competing more consistently. I ran NBHA a lot as a teenager, but it’s been so long that I honestly feel like the new kid all over again. 🥴

I’ll also be bringing my up-and-coming champ of a daughter into the game, so I’m especially interested in which associations are the most welcoming and offer great opportunities for youth. I’m leaning toward NBHA because I have so many great memories there NBHA World was one of the highlights of my younger years but I’ve heard mixed things recently.

So tell me everything! The good, the bad, what you love, what you’d change, and which association you’d recommend. I’d love to hear your experiences and any advice you have. Thank you! ❤️

Okay I see everyone buying these horse halos for almost 100 bucks PLEASE check out Amazon first they have the EXACT device same buttons and all for 19 bucks it WORKS the same yall! Joey loves it!!

For the ones who want to spoil their horse without having to spend 100 bucks! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️horses are already expensive giving them royal treatment shouldn’t have to always cost an arm and leg.
