Pedigree speaks for Itself this is a super nice promising young doe. She freshened once - prior to us owning her and was on one milk test, but no udder pics were taken sadly. I failed to catch her heat last fall so she is currently open. She was dam raised but hops up on the milk stand just isn’t too overly friendly unless food is involved.
Beautiful young doe with a huge future ahead of her. We are making very tough cuts and sadly she isn’t in milk therefore is one that has to go.

Chicken brag:
I’ve been working to breed a super deep welsummer throughout the years. As I bred Marans for many years but hated their shirt laying periods and unpredictable patterns. Welsummers are a pretty layer of terra cotta eggs and lay a lot of them! I’ve been trying to get a more maran color with the speckles while still retaining the breed standard. I also Breed for a heavy bloom too and this egg that popped out today is “wow” 😳 So excited my F4-5 welsummer pullets who just started laying! Pictured F4-5 first 3 eggs, F2-3 middle and end is a standard brown production egg.

Never in my life have I experienced such a mess! We have been awaiting some registrations since March!! And no answers from ADGA now this memo. They really need to get a better system and figure out how to make this up to their members! It makes us look bad as breeders when we sell animals and do not have answers for our buyers!
