Ann, now Ivy, is settling in beautifully in her new home💚

She’s already feeling right at home and now has a fellow GSP sibling to run and play with, and the two are already having the best time together! Her adopters have shared photos of her settling in, and it’s been so nice seeing her happy, relaxed, and enjoying this new chapter.

Little Siracha is thriving in her amazing foster home but she really needs a home of her own! We pulled 4 cattle dog mixes from Hardee County last month and she's the last one waiting for her family.

She is super sweet & fun! Around 1 and 1/2 years old, cattle dog mix, 15lbs!

We had the cutest little kennel helper at Nykol’s Rescues last weekend, and the pups absolutely loved the extra company! Our tiny volunteer spent time giving out pets, cuddles, and plenty of attention to all of our residents.

Josephine and Bella especially enjoyed their time with her and stayed close to soak up every bit of the extra love they could get. It was so sweet watching them light up while spending time with their new little friend.

Moments like these are so special for the dogs while they wait for their forever homes. A little extra attention goes a long way, and our pups were very happy recipients of it. Safe to say our smallest volunteer did an amazing job!

We have had some truly incredible happy endings lately, and it is all thanks to the support of our community! 💙

Chance and Zeke are currently out on trial and settling in, Tony’s adoption has officially been finalized, and little Lil Man the Chihuahua went straight from foster to adopted.

We still have a few furry friends searching for their forever homes. Josephine (Black Mouth Cur) and Ann (German Shorthaired Pointer) are having an absolute blast chasing and playing with their many friends and would thrive in homes that can match that fun, social energy. They are joined by several other dogs who are also patiently waiting for their perfect matches.

Updates on the new arrivals at Nykol’s Rescues! 🎉

Tony is currently on an adoption trial with a wonderful family and doing excellent so far. We are all keeping our fingers crossed that this is his perfect forever match!

Aussie had a little weekend adventure of his own. Our medical director took him home to foster for the weekend… and let’s just say he made himself right at home. We love a good foster “fail”!

Pebbles, a member of the heeler crew, has officially been adopted by a family and we could not be happier for her! She is already settling into her new life.

Chance and Bella have both had some interest and inquiries, and they have been adjusting really well to kennel life in the meantime. They have settled in comfortably and are enjoying their routines while we work on finding the right homes for them.

Thank you to everyone who continues to follow along with these pups and supporting their journeys. Every share, foster, adoption, and donation helps us keep saying yes to the next dog who needs us. 🐾

We have an urgent situation and we need our foster village right now! 💔

Their owner has been placed into hospice care, and three beloved companions suddenly need somewhere safe to land. These dogs have known one home, one person, one life. Everything has changed for them overnight.

Bella and Chance are senior small breed mixes in their golden years. They are tiny, manageable, and simply need a calm environment and someone nearby. At 12.5 years old, they are not looking for chaos. They are looking for comfort, routine, and a soft place to rest.

Aussie is an 8 year old neutered male Australian Shepherd. At 55 pounds, he is a mature adult, well past the puppy stage. He will need structure and reassurance as he navigates losing the only home he has known.

We want to move them directly into foster homes so they do not have to experience additional stress of being in a kennel environment. We provide all supplies and cover veterinary expenses. Fosters provide the safe, loving environment and daily care.

Last night’s 10 Year Anniversary Celebration was absolutely incredible! The room was filled with supporters, friends, and rescue family, and the energy was something we will never forget. Thank you to every single person who attended and helped us celebrate this milestone. ❤️

We are beyond grateful to the team at Leroy's Southern Kitchen-Bar for donating their event space, food, and hospitality services. They created the perfect setting for us to honor a decade of lifesaving work, and their generosity made the entire evening possible.

A huge thank you to Suncoast Glass & Mirror, Inc. for their generosity and for coordinating additional business donations from Mark Wetterquist, Showtime Realty agent Venus Belger, Beach House Chic Coastal Interiors, ACE Doors, and Absolute Window and Door. This kind of community collaboration directly supports the animals in our care and strengthens our rescue efforts!

We are so appreciative of our emcee, Robin Stewart Behrens, who kept the evening engaging and running smoothly, and to Honey and Havoc for the fantastic music and for donating their merchandise sales back to the rescue. Join us from 6 to 9 PM at Leroy's Southern Kitchen-Bar, 201 W Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950, for our 10 Year Anniversary Celebration Benefit. We are thrilled to have Honey & Havoc as our live music for the evening, and they are going to bring such incredible energy to this special night.

Preordering tickets is available until midnight tonight. If you miss the preorder window, you are welcome to purchase your $30 meal ticket at the door. Your ticket includes a BBQ buffet dinner with mains and sides, water, and access to an evening featuring live music, a silent auction, and a full bar for purchase. All proceeds benefit our medical and operations fund so we can continue saving lives.
