Today was one of those days we just had to write down.
Not because something huge happened —
but because it was so us. 💖

So here’s what went down:

We stole Mama’s food bowl.
Together.
Like two tiny professionals on a mission. 😇

Opal led the way.
Lexi added commentary.
It was teamwork at its finest.

Why did we do it?
Because the human put goat cream cheese in it.
GOAT. CREAM. CHEESE. 🐐✨
She turned around for one second… and that’s all we needed.
Let’s just say… it was delicious, and we have no regrets.

After our little snack heist, the human cleaned us up — wiped our cheesy faces and brushed our paws.
We didn’t mind. We were full and feeling fabulous.

And then…
the camera came out. 📸
Apparently we looked too cute not to photograph.
Fresh, fluffy, and totally smug.

So yes — a mini photoshoot happened.
And if you’re wondering why we look extra pretty in today’s pictures…

We’re also getting really close to exploring the big world outside.

Today felt a little dreamy.
Not loud or wild — just one of those soft days that float by like a little cloud. ☁️💙☁️

We (Opal ❤️ with the red collar & Leo 💛 with the beige one) had our photos taken today.
The big camera came out, and the nice human made all kinds of silly sounds to get us to look.
We did our best. Leo gave his “thoughtful prince” face, and I added a few side glances — just to keep it interesting. 😇

They kept calling us their little Cloudies today.
Not just because we’re Mama Cloud’s babies…
…but because of the way our coats look — like little patches of sky on a cloudy day.
Swirls of white, soft greys, and lilac that float across our fur like clouds drifting across the sky.
We carry her look. Her calm. Her softness.
And a little sparkle of our own.

After the camera fun, we got something extra special: Greek yogurt for dessert.
Cool, smooth, and way too good to share.
Leo tried to “accidentally” lean toward mine — but I gave him the look.
You know the one. He backed off real quick.

So yeah… today wasn’t big or exciting.
It was better: calm, cozy, and full of the kind of love you don’t need to explain.

(P.S. Lexi already said her piece earlier — and she was right:
some days, you really do just need a soft place to land.)

So… today was kind of a good day. ☀️
There was this silly little ball just sitting there. Bright colors, kinda fuzzy, made this funny squeak when I gave it a nibble.
I mean, listen — I’m not a ball ju**ie, okay? I’m not that kind of girl.
But hey… sometimes you just gotta try new things, right?

Honestly? I’d pick a human over a ball any day.
Cuddling on the couch, little games of “follow me,” that warm spot right next to someone’s leg?
That’s my kind of fun.
If I had to choose between fetch or a snuggle with someone who smells like home… easy choice. (Unless the ball squeaks. Then maybe both.)

I like calm. I like sweet.
I like when people talk to me like I matter — like I’m not just a dog, but family.
Because I notice things. The way your voice changes when you’re happy. The way your shoulders drop when you’re tired.
I don’t need words. I’m already there.

They say I have those "old soul" eyes.
I don’t know what that means exactly, but I do know this:
If you give me your heart, I’ll guard it with mine.

So yeah — maybe the ball wasn’t that bad.
But honestly? The best part of today was seeing someone smile because of me.
That felt even better.

Alright, we'll have to tell you what happened the other night...

So the humans put on a movie—with DINOSAURS. Big, loud, dramatic ones. Of course, we all crawled up next to them to watch. You know, quality family time.

But here’s the thing...
Those dinos were 100% speaking Frenchie.

Grunts, snorts, huffs—we understood everything. And the humans? Totally clueless.
We’re honestly not sure how they still don’t speak our language. We live with them. We snuggle them. We even let them kiss our heads. The least they could do is learn to understand a well-timed grunt.

Anyway, there are five of us—two little dudes and three sweet gals. One of us is rocking a smooth lilac tan coat (VIP look), the others are full-on merle magic.
We’ve got the looks, the charm, and four out of five of us already have our ears standing tall. One’s taking their sweet time—but hey, no rush. Great things take time.

Now here’s the part you probably won’t see in every little one's story:
Our human actually cares. Like, really.

They gave us a little litter box filled with pine pellets (fancy stuff, smells nice too), and gently showed us what it’s for. Every time we got it right? They lit up like we won the Super Bowl. Happy voice, head pats, and even a little treat.
We’re not gonna lie—we kinda love making them proud.

So yeah, we’re learning fast. We’re clean. We’re sweet. And we’ve got that built-in Frenchie sass. We don’t bark—we commentate. Loudly. In Frenchie, of course.

Life is good. The snacks are decent. The humans are learning.
And next movie night?
We’re picking the film. And bringing subtitles. Maybe.

Dear Diary — Day 42:
We’ve officially been around for forty-two days, and things are getting seriously exciting. We’re working really hard on getting our ears to stand up—because obviously, babies with standing ears hear better when the butler (that nice human with the food) is preparing our meals.

But sometimes… the service is slow. So we have to complain. Loudly. It’s not being rude—it’s being assertive. We’re growing little ones with big appetites and refined taste. Sometimes we even demand the Mama Milk Bar instead. Priorities.

Mama’s been acting a little weird lately. Every day, she brings us toys. And then she plays with them. We’re not sure if she’s trying to show off or start a game. Are we supposed to hunt the toys? Eradicate them? Make them squeak in fear? Hmm… we’re still figuring that part out.

Also—what’s with the human always picking us up and saying, “You’re sooo cute!” We mean, yeah… obviously. But we’re starting to suspect this might be a trap to steal kisses and sniff our heads.

Oh—and yesterday? We took down a MONSTER. Together. All of us. It was loud, it sucked up stuff from the floor, and it roared like thunder. But we didn’t back down. Brave. Fierce. Fluffy. Victorious.

Dear Diary — Day 28:

We don’t know what “28 days old” means, but everything feels bigger, louder, and much more fun. Dry food is officially on the menu, and honestly? Not bad at all. Crunchy, strange, but pretty awesome once you get the hang of it.

Our humans? They’re the best. Every time we try to give them a tiny love bite (you know, to show affection), they laugh and step away. We’re not trying to eat them... well, maybe just a little. Mostly, we just want to cuddle.

They always smell like comfort. Like home. Like warm hands, food bowls, and belly rubs — which, by the way, might be the greatest thing ever invented.

We still don’t get the TV. There are humans in a box doing... stuff. Strange, but it makes a nice background while we nap on soft pillows that smell like our favorite humans.

Mama and Grandma? Yeah, they keep acting like the humans belong to them. But let’s face it — they’re ours now. We claimed them fair and square with snuggles, puppy eyes, and sleepy little sighs.

Right now, life is pretty simple. Full bellies, warm arms, soft naps, and learning how much love this big world has to offer.

Guess what? We opened our eyes… and WHOA — the world is huge! 🌎
There are giant two-legged creatures smiling at us… we think they’re called humans? 😄

We're still figuring things out… like how to walk without face-planting into mom's belly and why our siblings make great pillows (even when they wiggle).
