Roo Dog is a small business operated by women that provides pet care services as well as hand crafted artwork & rope accessories for dogs. Now that you know what we are, here’s a little more about who we are...
Roo Dog began as a fun way to make some extra cash & spend more time with dogs - but it has become SO much more than that. It has become my day-to-day routine, my source of income, & my awesome, ever-growing, extended four-legged-family, MY LIFE! So how did I become lucky enough to start this little hobby I call a business? Well, it all started when I obtained my first professional animal care position at a new dog hotel in Boston in 2012. From the day I started working there I knew it was going to be a game changer for myself - I had found my passion & what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, DOGS! While I was attending University full time to become a Graphic Artist, I also worked full time as a Manager at the hotel simultaneously - this taught me way more about myself then I ever imagined. I was a hardworking, dedicated & compassionate person who felt I could be doing more - so I did.
Now, in 2018, Roo Dog LLC is a proud provider of pet care services to the areas of North Attleboro, Attleboro, Mansfield, Franklin, Norfolk, Norton, Plainville, Wrentham, Foxboro, Cumberland & more! We offer solo dog walks & hikes as well as social ones, overnight care for dogs and cats in the comfort of their own homes, and transportation assistance for those people with super busy schedules. We do not discriminate against any breed of dog, all are welcome with us - we specialize in rescue dogs, puppies & special needs/elderly dogs as well. The dogs that join our Roo Dog pack become family members to us, we care for them all as if they were our own (we WISH we could have that many dogs!) Just ask them yourselves :)
Roo Dog also is proud to offer quality handmade rope items to fellow dog-lovers! After testing our products on dogs of all sizes and breeds - from Dachshunds to Pit Bulls - we can say they're sturdy & simply gorgeous. Our leashes are made of natural 100% cotton, dyed with non-toxic fabric dye, and all individually crafted together by hand. As I like to say, A LOT of love & time goes into every Roo Dog leash made! Collars are coming soon.
