📣We truly can’t say enough good things about this horse.

✨OH MONACO  is a four year-old OTTB gelding 16+ hands. He never raced and last worked in October 2024. He retired with mild arthritis in his right knee and he is sound at all gates under saddle and should be suitable for any mid-level athletic career.

❤️He is our trainers, favorite horse to ride. For those who like a horse that brings energy and confidence to a ride this is the boy for you.

That is the number of days STORMY PATTERN has been at Second Stride. We just can’t figure out why 🧐

✅Stormy has proven himself to be a trustworthy mount and is our most well behaved horse in the program. He loves to work and is ALL class.

💯 Stands nicely for the vet and farrier. Blanketing, bathing and anything under saddle.

💯 He will take you over the river and through the woods to grandmas house and everywhere in between. Solo or with friends.

✅He is polite to his handlers, has patience and loves his grooming sessions!

❤️Sam is easy going and adapts well to changes in routine. Sam enjoys his bath and grooming sessions, walks politely on a lead rope, and settles down quickly to graze upon turnout. Overall, a friendly, even-keel guy who is very easy to have in the barn.

✅Sam has a lovely, balanced trot and natural self carriage. His first ride with us showed him to be sensible, willing and ready to progress. He looks perfect for dressage/eventing but could go in any direction.

✅All proceeds come straight to the horses of Second Stride.

😊End your week with a beautiful walk/run through the grounds of Claiborne Farm. See some of their magnificent mares and foals and an old training starting gate. Afterwards enjoy a nice meal and division winners win a very nice trophy!

Meet our youngest adoptees 😍

😁 They are all ready to be started under saddle and begin their training. They are all acclimated to vet work and the farrier, have excellent ground manners and are easy keepers. They are socialized and walk well on lead ropes.

472 days….
That is the number of days TOSHO has been in our program. In that amount of time, 155 horses have been adopted but not TOSHO and we just can’t figure out why that is. ☹️

✅TOSHO is a gentle giant at 16.2 hands. He has excellent ground manners and has had many trail rides around our farm. He is a trusty mount on the trails and can go alone but he does prefer company. He doesn’t seem to get too excited about anything and will literally stand still for hours on end under saddle.

❤️This 5 yo ottb gelding is a true rockstar and is eager to discover new trails with his new partner!
