Next up for our Colonial Classic qualifiers is Abigail Green + Bluegrass Demon. This is another new partnership this year and this is Abigail’s second year at colonial and the pair will be competing in the cross rail hunters.

Starting our weekend off congratulating the first rider of MMF on qualifying for Colonial Classic this year. Trinity Bell + Dancin’ Til Dawn have been working hard together this year for the Leadline Division. Always excited to lead this pair around the ring together!

Making Strides 07/26

Myka Taylor + Bluegrass Demon started our day off in the Younger Crossrail Equitation with a 3rd in the w/t and 3rd over fences. Super proud of this kid for taking everything in stride today and not only showing a horse she didn’t know for the first time but her first time riding something bigger than a large pony!🏅🎊

Abigail Green + Bluegrass Demon were 2nd + 4th over fences in the Crossrail Hunter. They were also 1st in the hack and Reserve Champion 🥇

Sophia Tiebosch + Dancin’ Til Dawn had their best courses to date in the Amateur Equitation earning 2nd + 3rd and 2nd on the flat for Reserve Champion 🏆

BEST July 12th + 13th

Band On Tour started our weekend off in the Green OTTB hunter with a 2nd and 3rd over fences and a 7th in the flat!

Herbie Z Van Het Eelshoff won his 3’3 jumper round🥇

On Sunday Kelley Rose Abell + Herbie Z Van Het Eelshoff were reserve in the 3’3 jumpers with a 2nd and 4th 🏆

Dakota Albers + Cordelia STF has some great moments and jumps in the .90 jumpers to be 3rd and 5th in a competitive division 🥉

June 28/29: BEST Summer Indoor Classic

Saturday:
Band On Tour started our day off in the covered ring placing 3rd in his over fences and 5th in the flat in the Green OTTB Hunters🥉

Sedona Bell + Blueprint stepped back into the show ring for the first time since September, placing 4th in both the flat and over fences in a competitive Adult Equitaion.

Herbie Z Van Het Eelshoff put in a solid round in the 3’ Working Hunters.

Sunday:

Kelley Rose Abell + Herbie Z Van Het Eelshoff were 1st in the MHSA Junior Eq on the flat and were 2nd in the over fences taking Reserve Champion🏆

Addison Eader + Blueprint were 3rd in the MHSA Junior Eq flat and 5th over fences. Super proud of this pair for their first time showing!🏅

Band On Tour finished our day off with the Green OTTB Hunters in the indoor ring, earning a 2nd and 6th for his first time indoors

Making Strides 06/21

Abigail Green + Bluegrass Demon had their second show together putting in two great courses to be 2nd and 3rd over fences and 2nd in the hack just missing reserve champion by only 2 points 🥈

Sophia Tiebosch + Dancin’ Til Dawn has their best show to date! Winning the flat and the first over fences of the 2’+ Equitation and 2nd in the second over fences to get their first champion together🏆

BEST June 14th + 15th

On Saturday:

Addison Eader + Call Me Plucky had two great rounds and a flat in a big Green OTTB Hunter division to pull an 8th in the 2nd over fences!🎉

Band On Tour was perfect despite some rider error in the Green OTTB hunters to be 7th in both over fences and a 5th in the flat🎊

Herbie Z Van Het Eelshof was 1st + 2nd in the 3’ open jumpers to take champion on Saturday🥇

On Sunday:

Kelley Rose Abell + Herbie Z Van Het Eelshof won the flat of the MHSA Junior Equitation and were 2nd in the over fences to finish Champion in the division. The pair were also 2nd + 3rd in the 3’ open jumpers 🏆

Addison Eader + Call Me Plucky were 3rd in the MHSA Junior Equitation and put in a great round over fences🎊

Trinity Bell + Dancin’ Till Dawn were 2nd in the Leadline 4 and under and were 5th in the MHSA Leadline 7 and under 🥈

2020 17+ Bay Thoroughbred Gelding

Monty retired sound with clean legs in June of 2023. Easy on the flat and moves off your leg very nicely. Green over fences but very honest and coursing around 2’/2’3, with plenty of room for more and a lead changes both ways. Trail rides out alone or in a group. Would be suitable for any direction going forward. Will start showing this month as well. Would be great for a JR/AA to finish brining him along with a trainer or a pro looking to bring up in the show ring. Push ride but there is a go button in there when wanted. Same horse on and off property. Stands for vet, farrier, tacking and bathing. Can live in or out, currently lives out and comes in as weather permits but is great in a stall. Monty is shod upfront only. He has no known maintenance. UTD on coggins and shots.

Making Strides #2

Abigail Green + Bluegrass Demon were Reserve Champion in the Cross Rail Hunters for their first show together, taking the win the in hack and being top three in both over fences!🎉

Sophia Tiebosch + Dancin’ Til Dawn were 3rd in their medal round as well as Reserve Champion in the Amateur Equation also winning the flat and was 2nd + 6th in the over fences 🥈

Myka Taylor + Glenhaven Clark Gable were top three in both flats of the Cross Rail Eq. The pair then went on to win both over fences of the Cross Rail Hunters to take Champion for the division!🏆

Delaney Taylor + Among The Stars were 2nd in an over fences of Open Hunter. Delaneys Bluegrass Rocketman put in two great courses in the Open Hunter as well.🎊

Addison Eader’s Call Me Plucky was Reserve Champion in the Thoroughbred Hunters being top 3 in all his classes and winning the first over fences. Theo then went on to put in a solid first round of the derby getting a score of 80!👏
