This is “July”, now Mya! She is from Sonny and Ava’s July 5 litter. She was black and white and now is all gray (and white)! We had another one who was all black turn gray also (from this litter)! They love her and think she’s beautiful!

This is a sister to Charlotte, known in our litter as Beretta. She was a shy and reserved puppy who had that “Pyrenees stubbornness” that people like to label them with. She has passed her initial service dog training and is a wonderful blessing to her owner! That observant nature that gets passed off as “shy” is what makes them so good!

We said goodbye to this happy girl yesterday. She had stopped eating and drinking on Saturday and Sunday. We took her in Monday and after some blood work and x rays was determined she did NOT have a uterine infection but her kidney levels were way off as well as liver. She went on an iv drip and the dx came in yesterday when WSU determined she had a rare blood cancer called Polychthemia Vera. There was no cure, just treatment, so we said our goodbyes. She wasn’t yet two and adopters of her offspring have been notified that it is not genetic or contagious. Loving well requires grieving well.

We are changing things a bit around here. Removing "Bernedoodles" from our name and focusing only on Pyredoodles (F1 and F1B). We are also going to be moving everything under the ranch domain here soon in the future. Stay tuned!
