Thank you to Linda for the gloves & puppy pads, Carolyn for the gloves & paper litter, and a mystery person for paper litter, pedialyte, and 2 small bags of Fancy Feast Dry Food. (We will see if Charlie likes it.)💙💖❤️🥰 Side note: the newbies never moved due to having multiple issues that required lots of medical care, in house, and at the veterinary clinic. I have to thank the staff Butler Animal Clinic, especially Dr. Mike and Dr. Nancy. Dr. Mike even came in last Saturday evening to assist me with one of the female kittens, plus he helped one of the boy kittens earlier last week that I thought might not make it, but is fine now. The newbie kittens will be moving to another foster home soon. I am very blessed to have such caring and supportive vets, plus such wonderful support from you all, the Cuddles and Purrs Rescue TEAM! It's a team effort for sure. Thank you to all.

Thank you Cecelia and Callie the kitty for the $50 chewy e-gift card. Thank you Carolyn for the 2 cases of wipes and 1 box of gloves. Appreciate you both. Here's a little history on Callie. Many, many years ago I "worked" a hoarder home as a side project with the help of the shelter back in the day, when the shelter had excellent staff and were very accommodating. Also Dr. Mike and staff @ Butler Animal Clinic for all their help as there were many ill cats. Callie was a cat living in a block garage. Fast forward she was put up for adoption thru another rescue (I approved the application). Cecelia adopted Callie and it has been a match made in heaven ever since. This is one of my favorite rescue stories. Thank you to everyone who adopts a cat in need.

We started out volunteering with other local rescue groups for several years, and decided to start our own small “Mom & Pop” rescue saving homeless kittens and some cats. Cuddles was our first rescue on our own. She was 14 hours old. Cuddles and Purrs will try to help abandoned/homeless kittens and occasionally some cats in the Knoxville area find loving forever homes based on foster home availability. We will not be able to take on many kittens/cats as we are a very small and home based rescue. Each kitten/cat will be accessed by a licensed vet, and will have their medical needs addressed. They are fed quality kitten/cat food. Once completely tested, spayed/neutered, given age appropriate shots, chipped, dewormed, flea treated, and most importantly healthy, the kittens will be looking for forever homes. There will be an application process for anyone interested in adopting. Applications submitted based on verification of information and the best fit for each kitty, not by who filled out an application first.
