I’ve always trained my own dogs—not for titles, but to set them up for success.
But as my journey in training evolved, I was offered the incredible opportunity to become a therapy dog handler. To qualify, Bear needed to have the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title as a baseline to visit care centers.
Today, I’m beyond proud to say… we did it.
Seeing this ribbon and knowing what it represents—hours of work, trust, and a bond we’ve built—I couldn’t be prouder. And to think, we accomplished this just before turning one year old.
These aren’t just a titles — they’re milestones.

Big day for Bear! He made his official debut as a therapy dog today. Words can’t express how proud I am. Watching him grow into this role and begin making a difference at such a young age has been incredibly rewarding.
This journey has really been shaped by the guidance and support we’ve received along the way. The inspiration to keep learning and growing has been instrumental in reaching this milestone. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our path and pushes us to continue to be better every day!
