Well it’s getting to be that time of year again. The hustle and bustle of gifts, shopping, wrapping, parties to throw or attend.
I am located in Longview WA and I want to help. I can do the cleaning, food prep for a party, help setting up your party, wrapping gifts, be your personal shopper. Absolutely anything you need I can help! Even the day to day can feel almost impossible when you have so many little tasks to complete, I get it. Need a ride to a party to and from? I can do that as well. I generally charge $30 an hour for the holiday season I have lowered my rate to $25 an hour. I can also offer flat rate fees if you’re more comfortable with that as well. 2hr min. for Local, 4hr min. if 30 miles or more away. Message me today let me help!

After the holidays are over and you’ve acquired more things then you know what to do with it may be time to get organized. There are two major areas to focus your attention to.
You closet: start a donation box or bag and start letting go. Things you haven’t worn in a year or more probably will not be worn again.
Your kitchen: get rid of the things you may have double or more of. Also go through those spices and discard the expired ones.
If you need an assistant to come do it for you or help with the process give us a call!

Today is going to be a very busy shopping day and if you don’t have an assistant to do the shopping for you there’s a few tips I’ve come up with to help you make it through.

Make a list of people you need to shop for and an idea of what you are going to buy them.
Set a budget.
Be mindful when that feeling of anxiety starts to creep in and just breath! Slow long breaths.
Smile at people. A little kindness goes a long way.
Take your time, parking, shopping, there’s really no rush.
Remember to drink water and eat. Take breaks!
After doing your adventure reward yourself with a hot cup of cocoa, tea, or coffee and just relax.

We all know about the smelly kitchen sponge. On a regular basis it’s important to sanitize and clean your sponge. I would say every couple of days to once a week! Just putting some dish soap on it with hot water is not enough.

What is the best way to clean a sponge?
Soak a sponge overnight in a mixture of 1 cup (250ml) hot water, 1/2 cup (125ml) white vinegar and 3 tablespoons salt. The next day, rinse and squeeze the sponge several times to get rid of all of the accumulated cleaning liquid. Put a wet sponge (emphasis on wet) in the microwave and heat it on High for 2 minutes.

Is your dishwasher cleaning like it should? You may notice your dishes don’t look as clean or you may even have some sort of build up. It’s ok here’s what you can do.

Place a cup of white vinegar in a dishwasher-safe container on the upper rack of the machine. Run the dishwasher through a hot-water cycle. This will wash away grease and grime and remove musty odors, too.
Baking soda rinse: Sprinkle one cup of baking soda across the bottom of the dishwasher, run a hot cycle.

When you’re headed to the mall or any store to do some shopping do you ever get road rage?
Get a Ladybug Personal Assistant to do the shopping for you or have them drive you. They will wait till you’re done and pick you back up and take you home. I know Uber does this but you may be waiting for your Uber ride when your done. And who wants to hang around after shopping? Not me!

Got dingy brass? I have a pretty cool trick to clean it up without horrible toxic cleaners that don’t work as good!
1 cup vinegar 1 tablespoon of salt and add flour to make a paste.
Smear it on the brass let sit for an hour or more for those harder jobs. Grab a scrubby sponge and water lightly scrub and rinse!
