They are known for a sturdy, rugged appearance, which includes an uneven, shaggy coat of three distinct lengths and a long, well furnished tail.
The Maine C**n Cat is a gentle, loyal breed. They make wonderful family pets and get along well with children and dogs. Depending on the breed of dog, the Maine C**n Cat can be bigger than Fido. They are a vocal breed, with a variety of meows, trills and chirps to make up their vocabularies.
