Good morning friends and family,
Spring is just 20 days away — or, if you prefer, we’re down to the final 20 days of winter.
One of the quiet privileges of this work is witnessing the seasons shift in real time. Each day we step into familiar neighborhoods that somehow feel brand new — seeing them through the curious, nose-to-the-ground perspective of your dogs. There’s something grounding about that rhythm: the same sidewalks, the same corners, yet different light, different smells, different energy.
This stretch of late winter into early spring is especially beautiful here in Portland. You can feel the city waking up — longer evenings, the first buds on trees, neighbors lingering just a little longer outside. It’s a subtle but powerful transition.
As the season turns, we encourage you to step outside, reconnect with your community, and explore your neighborhood as if it’s the first time you’ve ever walked it. There’s something refreshing about slowing down enough to notice what’s changing — and what’s always been there. Be resilient like the blooms in late winter.
This months newsletter goes over some internal housekeeping updates as well as community ones! We have gotten lots of questions regarding our frequency discounts, so we wanted to make another update on how to use them and how to adjust around your booking needs.
