Super proud of friend and collaborator Dou Vang of The Rainbow Roost. I’ve sent out countless birds around the country, many great birds do not get cared for correctly, and of the few that do not many breeders know what to look for or how to select while maintaining diversity. Dou has done so well his BB Red Pookie than he has shattered my record with Romeo. It helps that he maintains him in a super special coop with lots of extra love. The Rainbow Roost is the only breeder in the U.S. that I recommend for BB Reds that compare to my own. Watch this guy and support his work.

Big News! Pookie has broken the record for longest tail for a Black Breasted Red Longtail in the United States. His tail measures 8 ft (2.43 meters) and saddles measures (1.6 meters). The previous record was held by Romeo (7'9" or 2.36 meters), who is owned by a very good friend of mine, Cy Hyde US Onagadori. I can't wait to continue collaborating and working on restoring the Onagadori with Patrick. Stay tuned! 😉

This is Thor. I tend to hold onto the top 2-4 of a hatch to grow them out a bit until I narrow it down to my alpha and beta. Thor is a top shelf white longtail, sad to see him go but if your lucky you can catch some of my best when I’m trying to make space for the next generation

2025 had some amazing roosters many of which have been breeding or will be breeding this spring. I’ve been breeding improved BBReds with Jackson, whites improved with Subz & Zero, and green leg project taking leaps and bounds with Wan and Bob. Looking forward to these young stags as they grow out all 2026.
