Van Gogh, the Great Pyr Golden cross and Clancy, the Aussie Lab mix are here for a trail weekend before a long stay in about a month. They’ve been such friendly, good mannered boys. I’m excited to see them again soon!

Sophie and Autumn are enjoying their Sunday!
Sophie, the yorkie, is boarding with me for a few days, while Autumn, the rough collie, was here this morning for a full spa package. As you can see, Autumn enjoyed a nice snooze while she waited for her dad to pick her up 💕 such lovely girls!

Who remembers Oliver who stayed with me over Christmas?
His mom and I have had two lessons in the past month to address his fearfulness. We had our second lesson last night, she has done great with their “homework”. He has shown big improvement, I got this text this morning - he’s choosing to let someone pet him, that is major for him!
I just love getting texts like this from owners. I get just as giddy to see ya’ll meet your goals with your dogs as you do!!

🧠 Daily Enrichment Toys – We keep your dog engaged and mentally stimulated with a variety of fun toys including kongs, pupscicles, and toppls!

🚶‍♂️ Individual Walks – Each dog takes a daily 2 mile walk to stretch their legs and enjoy fresh air down our private road, weather permitting. With mainly cattle as our neighbors, pups enjoy lots of sights, smells and sounds.

🐕 Supervised Playtime – Your dog can enjoy safe, social play with others under careful supervision. Playtimes are limited to proven social dogs only, after an evaluation. Our large yard allows lots of room for both zoomies, and quiet time away from other dogs for a sniffari.

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation to all of my amazing clients who have supported me throughout this incredible year (pictured or not!). Your trust, loyalty, and commitment to your pets’ well-being has kept me busy another year.

I had the privilege of watching Oliver over the holidays, a little chiweenie. He’s a more difficult dog, unsure of people and dogs. I had in home visits with him to get him ready for his board, and even our last visit he was still nervous around the weird woman in his home feeding him treats.

By the end of his 5 day board, he was coming up to me for pets and kisses. He socialized with one of my demo dogs. He even let me trim his nails during his stay! It’s times like these that I love my job a little extra ☺️
