Patience is one of the most important tools you can bring to a training session. 🐾

When we’re teaching our dogs something new, it’s easy to forget that what seems simple to us may not be so simple to them.

Give your dog the opportunity to think, process, make mistakes, and figure things out.

🐾 Distance – Building confidence and reliability even when you’re not standing right beside them.

🐾 Distractions – Gradually introducing new sights, sounds, people, and dogs while maintaining focus.

🐾 Duration – Teaching your dog to maintain a behavior, not just perform it for a few seconds.

An oldie but such a goodie! ❤️

My son captured this beautiful moment between Avery and Ticket one day, and it’s always been one of my favorite pictures. The pure joy on both their faces says more about their relationship than words ever could.

Sometimes a single picture captures everything that makes the bond between a person and their dog so special.

The best relationships are the ones where both sides find joy in each other. 🐾

As a trainer, I want to see people and dogs who genuinely love doing life together. ❤️
