❤️🐾 ONE PROUD BREEDER MOMENT RIGHT HERE!! 🐾❤️

Every once in a while, something happens that reminds me exactly WHY I do what I do!!

Meet James and Zach! 🥰

Zach is one of ElsBeths exceptional 7-month-old males, and he went home with a young man who is 18 y/o who knew exactly what he wanted and was determined to do things RIGHT!

As a breeder of Dutch Shepherds, I spend a tremendous amount of time vetting potential owners. And the truth is, this breed is NOT for everyone! Not because they aren’t phenomenal dogs, but because they require commitment, consistency, leadership, and an understanding of what makes them tick.

Well, let me tell you about JAMES!! 👏👏👏

This young man LISTENED! He took my guidance seriously, put in the work, and has already completed Zach’s foundation training at just seven months old!

And the RESULTS??? ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!! 💥

Zach is an incredibly well-behaved young dog, and that doesn’t happen by accident! That’s what happens when you put the RIGHT dog with the RIGHT person who is willing to invest the time and effort!

At an age when many are still figuring things out, James stepped up, made a commitment, and followed through!

THIS is responsible dog ownership! THIS is why I work so hard to match the right puppies with the right people!

James, you have made me one VERY proud breeder!! Keep doing what you’re doing, because you and Zach have an incredible future ahead of you!

🐾 GREMLINS GONE WILD AT KBK9 RANCH! 🐾🤣❤️

Oh, these little four-legged terrorists!! 😂

Life in the Dawg Huis is absolute CHAOS, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

They’re yanking on my pants, attacking my ankles, climbing all over me, and using those razor-sharp little shark teeth and needle-like claws to express every ounce of their excitement! 🦈🐊

My legs are covered in bite marks, my hands look like I’ve been wrestling with a pack of wild animals, and my skin has definitely seen better days!

I’m wounded, people… WOUNDED WITH LOVE!! ❤️🤣

And then there’s sweet little Haven, Cash’s girl, enjoying her pup cup with that little tail wagging a hundred miles an hour! 🥹💕 Meanwhile, Cash walks into the Dawg Huis and it’s GAME ON!! The entire mob launches itself at him like he’s a rock star arriving backstage! 🤣🐾

These babies are SO full of life, personality, mischief, and LOVE! They don’t have words yet, so everything is communicated through their mouths, paws, wiggly butts, and those little tails that never seem to stop!

❤️ The bittersweet part… they’re starting to fly the nest!

This past weekend, FOUR of our babies headed off to their forever families! Another leaves tomorrow, with more joining their families this coming weekend.

Every goodbye tugs at my heart, but knowing these little gremlins are going to wonderful homes makes every scratch, bite, sleepless night, and load of laundry worth it!

🐾 We still have some beautiful females and TWO handsome silver males looking for their forever people!

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM KBK9 RANCH! 🚨🐾

18 puppies have officially filed a FORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST MANAGEMENT!! 😂🤣

Their crime? CUTTING OFF THE MILK BAR! 🍼🚫

The outrage is REAL! The screaming is DEAFENING! The demands are NONSTOP! And apparently, nobody got the memo that WEANING is part of growing up! 🤣

With two litters just a week and a half apart, we’ve got 18 very opinionated little Dutch Shepherds who believe their mothers should be available 24/7!

Meanwhile, the mamas are enjoying some much-deserved peace and quiet! 😂❤️

🎬 Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the actual protest on video, but TRUST ME… you haven’t lived until you’ve heard 18 Dutch Shepherd puppies demanding their milk bar privileges back! 🤣🤣

The volume! The outrage! The absolute INJUSTICE of it all!

And their mamas? They’re somewhere enjoying their first peaceful moments in weeks, probably thinking, “NOT MY PROBLEM!” 😂🐾❤️

🐾 18 PUPPIES, TWO LITTERS & ONE VERY BUSY RANCH! 🤠❤️

Holy puppy growth spurt, Batman!! 😂🐾

It’s been a minute since I’ve given y’all an update! Our babies are now 7 weeks and 5½ weeks old, and they are growing like WEEDS ON STEROIDS!! 🌱💪🤣

We officially have 18 card-carrying members of the CLEAN PLATE CLUB! 🍽️🏆 Their gruel gets a little raw meat mixed in, and these little chowhounds don’t leave a crumb behind! We’re getting ready to introduce some veggies, too!

They PLAY HARD, SLEEP HARD, EAT HARD, REPEAT!! And somewhere in between all that chaos, their little personalities are BLOOMING! ❤️

This is one of my favorite stages. When you know and understand the Dutch Shepherd breed, you start seeing those individual personalities, drives and temperaments come to life. It’s becoming pretty clear which puppy belongs in what kind of home. And THAT is where the magic of matching begins! 🥰

Now for the really GOOD stuff! 🩺🐾

All 18 puppies have had their first veterinary exams, vaccinations, deworming, microchips and weigh-ins!

❤️ No heart murmurs!

❤️ No umbilical hernias!

❤️ 18 healthy, thriving puppies!

18 FOR 18!! Now THAT makes this breeder one HAPPY RANCH MAMA!! 🙌❤️

AND HERE WE GO!! 🥹❤️🐾

I’ve been visiting with some of our excited puppy families today, and the countdown has officially begun! They’re making their travel arrangements, scheduling pickup times and getting ready to welcome their new family members home starting NEXT WEEKEND!! 🎉🏡

I can hardly believe we’re already here! It seems like yesterday I was watching these little miracles come into the world, and now we’re preparing for the next chapter of their lives.

There’s something incredibly special about watching a puppy grow from its very first breath and knowing you’ve helped choose the family where it belongs. That’s the part of breeding I absolutely LOVE! ❤️

And while I’m thrilled for these families, I’m pretty sure this ranch mama is going to shed a few tears when those little tails head down the driveway! 🥹🐾

Between feeding, cleaning, refereeing puppy wrestling matches and trying to remember what a full night’s sleep feels like, life at KBK9 Ranch is anything BUT boring! 🤣
