Looking to see if anyone would be interested in purchasing (processed by Central Illinois Processing) meat birds before I place any orders. They would be processed on August 6th.

I would require whole birds to be purchased and have to meet a minimum of 150 sold birds (I've booked 250 and would like some for our freezer too).

As of now we're looking at $7.00 a pound. This price could (hopefully) drop, but with current inputs this is where we're at. This price includes feed, bird cost, processing, and fuel.

If you purchased a turkey from us, know that it is a heritage breed and will cook a little differently than your normal Butterball! They cook a little faster!

While I'm not really a Martha Stewart fan, this is the recipe most heritage breeders tend to lean towards.

The Cornish Cross have gone in for processing and are now ready! Average 5.01 pounds with the largest whole processed bird weighing approximately 6 pounds!

I have a few quarters (see photo) available for anyone wanting fresh chicken. Free range birds and processed at a state licensed facility.
