Sometimes, the simplest moments are the ones you wish you could freeze forever.

One of the things I love most about where we live is the absolutely beautiful sunsets. There’s just something about watching the sky light up over the countryside that makes you stop for a minute and appreciate this little life.

Out here in God’s country, we get a front-row seat to his coloring book. I'll be honest, some nights, He really outdoes Himself.

Last night’s walk was truly spectacular. Beautiful skies, quiet country roads, two and four-legged company, and another little memory tucked away.

It’s evenings like these that remind me just how blessed we are to call this place home.

I wouldn’t trade this crazy, beautiful country life for anything.

Posie would like to inform everyone that the vet SUCKS.

Here she was, minding her own business. Happily stuffing her face with perfectly good pasture grass when she was RUDELY removed from her buffet.

Then, she was TIED UP.
Forced to STAND STILL.
And as if that wasn’t offensive enough… they POKED her.

Now, she will admit that the vet gave some pretty darn good scratches in those hard-to-reach itchy spots... which did lighten her aggravation.

Slightly. Very slightly.

Still....Zero stars. ⭐️❌
Terrible service.
No snacks in sight.
Would absolutely prefer to return to the pasture immediately.

Posie will be filing a formal complaint with management… right after she finishes angrily eating grass, and rolling in the dirt.

Hawkeye’s official first week of training is well underway!

So far, our little man is doing SO good and picking things up like a champ.

Still plenty to learn, but at this rate, we’ll have a little superstar on our hands before we know it. 😉

THE SCAMMERS ARE AT IT AGAIN.

Once again, I’ve found my content stolen and being used by fake accounts.

THIS is exactly why I watermark my photos anymore.

I guess stealing someone else’s pictures, posts, and content and pretending it belongs to you is easier than creating your own. 🤦‍♀️

But what really pi**es me off is that this is exactly how innocent families get screwed.

Someone sees adorable puppy pictures, thinks they’re talking to a legitimate breeder, sends a deposit or even pays for a puppy... only to find out the person never had that puppy to begin with. They were using stolen photos and pretending to be someone they aren't.

Meanwhile, real breeders have their photos stolen, their names dragged into scams, and families are left heartbroken and out hundreds - sometimes thousands of dollars.

Seriously... if the bots are going to go after anyone, GO AFTER THE DAMN SCAMMERS.

I am so absolutely sick of my s**t being stolen and used by fake people/accounts.

So PLEASE - if you ever see our dogs, our photos, or our content posted somewhere that doesn't look like us, LET ME KNOW.

And if you're looking for a puppy, verify who you're talking to before sending money. Ask for video calls. Ask for references, health testing, parents, etc. Ask ALL the necessary questions. Look through their page history. Make sure the person actually has the dog they're claiming to have.

And to the scammers lurking around looking for their next photo to steal...

At least have the decency to leave my watermark on it. 😘🖕

I feel like Mom forgot to mention one VERY important detail in Hawkeye’s whole traumatic Lambchop story.

You see, she didn’t just wash HIS Lambchop.

OH NO NO.

SHE WASHED EVERYBODY’S. 😳

Every. Single. One.

So while Hawkeye was busy telling everyone about his suffering, and getting ALL the attention, I would just like it officially documented that the betrayal was widespread.
Not a single Lambchop was safe.
WE WERE ALL TRAUMATIZED.

Thankfully, after what felt like approximately 47 years, my goofy little friend has finally been returned to me. Clean. Fluffy. And smelling not at all like me, and entirely too fresh.
However... I’ll allow it. 🐑

Just in time, too, because football season is right around the corner! 🏈

And obviously I need my Lambchop mascot beside me while I help Mom and Dad cheer on our team!

Now, I’d tell you who we cheer for, buuut Mom says I probably shouldn’t.

Apparently some of you might boo me.
And frankly, I’m too cute for that kind of negativity. 💁‍♂️🐾

🐾 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🐾

Around here, every day is Dog Day.
Today apparently makes it official.

Our house may be covered in fur glitter, our floors may never stay clean for more than 12 minutes, and there is absolutely zero chance of going to the bathroom alone. Even still, I wouldn’t trade this crazy, dog-filled life for anything.

From the old souls to the youngsters, the troublemakers, the professional snugglers, the ones who keep us laughing, and the ones who have left paw prints on our hearts forever. Each one has brought something special into our lives.

They make our home louder, messier, crazier and so, so much happier.

So here’s to National Dog Day and all the four-legged family members who make life just a little bit better.

Give your pups an extra treat, an extra snuggle, and maybe forgive them for whatever questionable decision they made today.

Happy National Dog Day from our very loved and very spoiled pack (past and present) to yours! 🐾❤️

I, Hawkeye, have survived an absolutely DEVASTATING ordeal today. To be quite frank... I’m still processing it.

It all started when Mom decided Lambchop was “dirty.”

Dirty?! Sure, he was a little crusty. Maybe slightly discolored. Perhaps he had developed his own unique aroma.

HE WAS PERFECT.

One minute, Lambchop and I were happily playing together… and the next, I watched in horror as Mom shoved him into a giant machine of torture, where he was spun around and drowned for what felt like 17 years.

I thought surely that was the end of it.

Oh no.

Mom then had the AUDACITY to throw him into ANOTHER machine. 😭

I feared I would never see my beloved Lambchop again.

Thankfully, he survived Mom's heinous attack, and has officially been returned to my custody. He is clean, fluffy, smells suspiciously good… and is currently undergoing a very thorough inspection.

Rest assured, I will NOT be letting him out of my sight again.

Mom has officially lost all Lambchop privileges until further notice.

Please respect our privacy while Lambchop and I recover from this traumatic experience. 🐑🐾😂

☀️ Good morning from our little slice of heaven.⁸

It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through another week. The days seem to pass faster and faster, and lately I’ve found myself trying to slow down enough to really appreciate them.

This morning, I’m simply thankful.

Thankful for another day. For my family. For our home. For the dogs, horses, and all the animals that make this place what it is. Thankful for the quiet mornings, the beautiful views, and even the busy days that seem to pass in the blink of an eye.

Life isn’t always perfect, and some seasons are certainly harder than others. But when I look around at this little life we’ve built, I’m reminded just how much there is to be grateful for.

Time flies. Life moves quickly. So today, I’m choosing to soak it in a little more.

We are halfway through the week already - make it a good one.

Happy Wednesday from our little slice of heaven. 🌾🐴🐾
