As the holidays approach…please beware of rawhides!

They are first soaked in a toxic chemical sodium sulfate then hydrogen peroxide to turn them white and get the smell out.

They they then use artificial colors and glue to make the shapes.

If that’s not bad enough- they are terrible choking hazards especially because they get so slimy it’s hard for owners to help.
