Meet Sheldon!

Max is a sweet and gentle 5-month-old pup who is ready to find his forever home! We believe he’s a Hound/Terrier mix and expect him to be around 40 pounds when fully grown.

Max is a people-loving pup who enjoys spending time with his humans. He’s almost fully potty trained, sleeps through the night like a champ, and loves going for walks. He also gets along great with other dogs, including his foster sibling, Lucy!

🐾 Meet Beatrice! The Sweet & Smart Golden/Shepherd Mix 🐾

Beatrice has arrived in NY and has been working hard on her puppy skills! This 5-month-old fluffball is all love, all kisses, and all potential. She’s a fast learner who’s working on “sit” and “come” and is picking up “leave it” and food manners. Leash training is going well—she loves staying by your side! Potty training is also progressing.

Despite her soft, fluffy coat and sweet face, Beatrice is going to be a big girl (already about 30 lbs!), so she needs a family experienced with large breeds or willing to put in the training to help her thrive. She responds beautifully to redirection and positive praise, and her foster mama will guide her adopters in continuing her great progress.

Because she’s still learning about teething and jumping (normal puppy behavior!), a home without small children or cats would be best at this time. She is currently fostered with two large, strong-willed male dogs and is fitting into the pack wonderfully. Beatrice doesn’t have a mean bone in her body—just lots of love to give!

At adoption, she will be spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She is currently being fostered in Dutchess County, NY.
