Show jumper Laura Kraut is celebrating her 60th birthday today while on form that riders would be envious of at any age.
“I've had people come to me and say, ‘I was thinking of quitting and because you're still going, I'm going to continue,’ which is really nice to hear," says the athlete, who last year became the oldest Olympic medalist in 72 years when she won team silver at the Paris Olympics. We are expecting a full house for tomorrow’s Clean Round Jumping class, which will be available for Levels 1-3 of our jumping curriculum. If any of our students would like to come to watch, and to learn about next steps in riding and jumping, please feel free to join us at 11:30. If the weather stays dry you will find us in the outdoor arena! 😊🐎🐎

We are looking forward to welcoming new horse riders to our “Intro” class tomorrow! 🐎🐎🐎. This “Intro” class has filled, and we are excited to offer another one closer to the holidays 🎄🎄

SO much fun at the Halloween Hop and Hurry, followed by the Gourd Gallop! 🎃🎃🎃

Kids brought their stick horses, energy, and candy buckets to the Gallop, and we saw all kinds of creative costumes for the Hop (junping) and the Hurry (competitive games).

Thanks to everyone who brought treats, did course set up, and in so many other ways helped make this a great time. ❤️🐎❤️

We’ve changed things up in the outdoor arena - and more to come as we make the most of the fall weather ❤️

We have a new course featuring flowing, forward approaches mixed up with a couple of end jumps and some seasonal decorative features. Thanks to everyone that helped yesterday morning!

Our new barrels have arrived. They are currently on duty as jump fillers, and later will be available for our games classes and show team practices.

We have perhaps 8 weeks of good outdoor riding still to come…much of it shifting to the mornings and weekends once the clocks change. Keep an eye out for weekend jump specials as we make the most of the fall weather. No bugs. Little dust. What a great time of year to ride outside! ❤️

TODAY! We are excited for this mornings’s Halloween Hop and Candy Hunt, Costume parade, Halloween Hurry and the Gourde Gallop. Bring your costumes and stick horses! 🎃🎃🎃
