There are simply too many people to thank individually today, so instead, I want to recognize everyone's efforts as a whole.
From our vaccine clinic team, our veterinarian and CVTs, volunteers, adoption counselors, and staff handling walk-ins, meet-and-greets, adoptions, to the boarding staff who started / and are ending the day cleaning kennels and preparing for more clients, and the W2W volunteer team members who started and ended the day walking dogs, feeding animals and cleaning up after a long, busy day — every single person played an important role.
What we accomplished today was no small feat. Seeing 70 patients while also, doing an uncountable amount of walk-thrus PLUS facilitating more than 7 adoptions is something that only happens when an entire team comes together with a shared mission and a willingness to go above and beyond.
People often see the finished result, but they don't always see the countless hours, teamwork, dedication and hard work that happens behind the scenes. It truly takes a village to do what we do and today, that village stepped up in a huge way.
Thank you for the extra effort, the long hours, the teamwork, the flexibility and most importantly, the compassion you show to every animal AND person who walks through our doors.
I honestly cannot imagine doing any of this without all of you. I am incredibly grateful for each and every one of you and everything you do to make Wags 2 Wellness Low-Cost Veterinary Care Center and Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue such a special place.
Today was a big day, and every one of you should be proud of what we accomplished together.
