Hoppy Tails Update: Ozzy πŸ–€

Ozzy's mom says he's doing great and is already bonded with new friends, Cinnamon Bun and Binx. Ozzy has always been an anxious guy who we thought would really benefit from a bunny friend, and we're so happy that now he has two πŸ–€

We're celebrating again today because Ruby also found her πŸ–€

The very handsome and sweet 18 lb Remy came in for dates last night. He met a few bunnies and did well with all of them, but he was most interested in Ruby and she seemed the most interested in him as well. We even got a Ruby flop mid-date. Ruby has been waiting over a year for someone to realize how special she is. We couldn't be happier for her and her new family πŸ–€

Arwen's adoption this weekend made room for us to rescue Jude πŸ–€

Jude is part of the case is spearheading. All of the bunnies from the site have been kept in a garage by the good samaritan who rescued them, but Jude, reportedly escaped the garage after a bobcat broke in 6 months ago. He's been fighting for survival outdoors ever since. Underground Squeaks asked if we could help with trapping him and he will be staying with us at Operation Obi. Jude has already been treated for fleas and ticks. He will be going to the vet on Wednesday, though, to have a healed nose injury evaluated and to test for coccidia, which is prevalent among the other bunnies from the site. He's overwhelmed, but very sweet and starting to realize he is safe πŸ–€

Please donate to Underground Squeaks who is working to get the rest of the bunnies from the site vetted, spayed/neutered, and placed.

Please help us congratulate Arwen who found her today πŸ–€

Last October, Arwen was brought to us by a good samaritan who rescued her from the mouth of a stray cat. She was only around a month old at the time. The next day, we received a message from a nice couple expressing interest in adopting her when she was ready. This weekend, that very couple drove hours to meet Arwen and take her back to her new home. We couldn't be happier for her and her new family πŸ–€

Congratulations to Theo, now Orange Marmalade, whose adoption was finalized this week 🧑 Theo was rescued late last year after a good samaritan found him abandoned outside while walking her dog. Theo went on dates with one our volunteer's bonded girls, Gumdrop and Vanilla Bean, earlier this year and went home as a foster-to-adopt. They are still working on bonding the trio, but making progress and hopeful they'll soon be the best of friends. We're so grateful to our good samaritan and now volunteer, Allyson, for helping get Theo to safety, and so unbelievably happy for him and his new family 🧑

A good samaritan recently reached out to our friends at after several abandoned rabbits they rescued multiplied to what is now 61 rabbits.

Sadly, according to the good samaritan, she reached out to another rescue in the area two years ago. The rescue visited the property and then turned a blind eye. Now, there are 61 rabbits in need of immediate vet care and placement. Many of the rabbits are pregnant. Many of the rabbits are sick. Underground Squeaks has stepped up to help and we will be assisting in any way we can, but they are desperately in need of donations and support.

Please donate. Please share. If you can foster or are a rescue with space, then please reach out to Underground Squeaks directly. Thank you all so very much for your support 🫢

A huge thank you to All Pet Animal Hospital for helping get Arwen spayed and one step closer to her forever home yesterday πŸ–€

Many of you may remember baby Arwen who we took in late last year after a good samaritan rescued her from a stray cat. She was only a month old at the time and has been waiting a while to be old enough to be spayed.

Yesterday, we loaded her up and hauled her across town to the spay/neuter clinic we typically use only to be told upon arrival that their rabbit veterinarian wasn't on site.

Feeling frustrated for Arwen, especially since she already has a potential adoption appointment lined up, we called All Pet Animal Hospital. They squeezed Arwen in the day she showed up when we were worried about her contact with cat saliva and they saved the day again yesterday.

We're so grateful for their partnership and continued support, and we're so excited to see what the future has in store for Arwen πŸ–€

Ernie recently went out into one of our foster homes and quickly made himself at home πŸ–€

Ernie was rescued on Thanksgiving day last year by our friends at Destiny's Safe Haven after a longtime follower and supporter of ours found him abandoned outside with several other bunnies. He quickly settled in here at the rescue and became a volunteer favorite. This sweet boy is curious, playful, and LOVES attention.

For more information on Ernie and the rest of our adoptable bunnies, check out our Petfinder page, available via the link in our bio πŸ–€

We have so many playful, confident, spirited girls waiting for their πŸ–€ These girls are often overlooked because they're not super cuddly, but that's because they're too busy having the time of their lives. They're so much fun to have around, forever keeping you on your toes and making you laugh. We promise that once they're done with their binkies, zoomies, and exploring they'd be happy to settle in for some love and attention. Their foster parents absolutely adore them and they just need someone to give them a chance πŸ–€

We took a moment with Mara after tidying up her space today πŸ–€ She's such a sweet and playful girl with such a love for life. She has neurological issues that make her a bit wobbly, but she doesn't let it slow her down. Mara is looking for her forever home.
